  1. This song was pretty much the soundtrack to revising for my degree exams (the radio played it a *lot*) so I've got a lot of memories associated with it. It's not one of my favourite songs by any means, but you've done a cracking version and have nailed the vocals perfectly. It's also the first time I've heard some of the words clearly (I always heard "There's a small boat made of china" as "There's a small boat man in China" and wondered what it was on about...).
  2. Log out from LM then log in again - this happened to me this morning and this fixed it.
  3. Only for 2 of the many expansion packs I have - go figure (it's because I delete the Mac .dmg installer from the folder, because I don't want it). But it's fine on the other packs.
  4. And you've done the classic "rename aud.ini to aud.bak and re-run CbB"?
  5. This is a wild guess, but I'd compare MMCSS settings in Cakewalk and the RME driver control panel (if available there). There are some difference of opinions as to where MMCSS should be enabled, and if they conflict, there *might* be a problem. Enable it in only one place, and if you can't disable it in the RME control panel, then disable it in Cakewalk to make sure it's not being enabled there.
  6. Context menus can become somewhat long and overwhelming after a while...
  7. You can (at least in some cases): I have TTS-1 available in both 32 bit SONAR and 64 bit SONAR/CbB, and ditto for the Sony (Sound Forge) plugins.
  8. Thanks for that! I do know what you mean: I remember one Hawkwind gig where I was driving back late at night waving to everyone who was flashing their headlights at me, only to eventually realise I'd been going for ages without headlights...I wonder why I didn't spot that ? I've been very fortunate to have been able to play with some of the former Hawkwind members over the years - not always with the best results!
  9. So I've finally got round to putting up the Xoo back catalogue on Bandlab at https://www.bandlab.com/xoospacemusic/albums These date back to 2003, so there are some horrors in there (especially in terms of mixes!), but I hope there are some tunes that people enjoy.
  10. Rather than search, use the Locate Key button to launch the key finder (if you're not doing that already). The "Search" box searches the descriptions, not the keys.
  11. I have this with an old MOTU Ultralite - it works in a USB 3 port (as in detects and plays audio) but there is what I can only describe as "wow and flutter".
  12. -50 to +50 with 0 meaning old-50 would indeed be more logical (but confuse everyone used to it as is!).
  13. And here's the "original": https://www.bandlab.com/xoospacemusic/dream-in-a-glass-part-1-0fe66b83?revId=6f0552a9-71c6-ec11-997e-28187831e8a1
  14. The pre-turn, surely? I'll upload it later....very didferent, but I found it interesting how the same words can work with totally different styles, which lends a very different meaning to them too (Dream In A Glass is the chorus in the original version). Glad you liked it.
  15. ...but if I did, they'd come out like this. https://www.bandlab.com/xoospacemusic/dream-in-a-glass-part-2-d8bb25d0?revId=25e19ec8-bac5-ec11-997e-28187831e8a1 The lyrics for this were originally used in a reggae-trip hop (I don't really know how you'd describe it) song years ago, but they worked very well with this guitar riff, so Dream In A Glass part 2 was born.
  16. If you're going into a USB3 port, try a USB2. My MOTU Ultralite has wow and flutter if I use a USB3.
  17. It works fine as is on my CbB (I just dislike the .vst3 folder structure as it's unnecessary). There's a good discussion on KvR: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=580939 which includes my comments on how to get it to work in CbB (it's a bit of a pain compared with some other hosts, it seems, but works OK).
  18. If we're talking FRs around this, then the ability to lose the whole multidock would be nice too.
