10 or so years ago, I went to see a big ticket band* for a not insignificant amount of money either, and it was clear that a significant part of the performance was being mimed - the drum sound, for example, didn't match what part of the kit was being hit... It really spoilt it for me, and I was really disappointed by the whole experience. I've nothing against backing tapes or running sequences (I've used them, and my favourite live bands use them), but don't try to trick me, OK? ? * The female lead singer of said band may or may not have very Blonde hair if you see what I mean.

Ooh ooh ooh ? Having done a quick'n'dirty test... Phase Stone is very nice - I think it's the nicest phaser model they have; ModulaVerb does what it says - I don't see much use for it personally, but that's just my style (and it sounds a decent guitar amp reverb); Reverse Delay is more subtle than I'd expected, and I need to play with it more, but again, it seems to do what it says on the tin, sounds nice and ethereal/spacey as expected, and I can see myself using it in slower/ambient pieces. Nice update, I'd say, especially for free!

There's a 1:1 correspondence between tracks/busses in the track view and tracks/busses in the mixer, so no need to update them in both places: either will do.

Very, very long cables? ?

I did say "might" ? I know some people move drum samples around by tiny increments to get the "right" sound, so they might notice (or think they do!).
-
Ah, but phasing might kick in depending on what you have in other tracks.

668 if you're un the UK ? And I always smirk when I drive past the turnoff to the Devil's Punchbowl and see that the road number is the A333. Surely someone having a bit (half?) of a laugh there...

Close call for me between Seventh Son and Somewhere In Time. Although Number of the Beast could be in the running too. I'm not a fan until Bruce joined.

I like it - it has a hint of Pink Floyd about it too to me (Shine on You Crazy Diamond) with the drone opening. It obviously doesn't stay there, but that doesn't matter - it ends up in a really cool place.

Sounds like a neat idea.

It's an optional download - I've had it installed since the SONAR days so I can't remember how to install it now. I'm sure someone here will...

Or Drum Replacer?

Too soon?

I'm with you on this one absolutely ?

I'm with those who say we have tracks/track folders already. Moreover, suppose CbB did support this - how would automation work? You could have the same plug-in in 2 different lanes, and would presumably be able to automate them both - sure, CbB could support it, but it could get messy really quickly - add in the same FX on the track too and you're in envelope confusion hell!

Thanks everyone. I love Steve Hillage's guitar work, so that's an amazing comparison for me ?

Should be subtitled "Groove on a G for 5 minutes", this is a new track that's going to be on a forthcoming album "Dusty Starbursts and Luminous Quasars". https://www.bandlab.com/xoospacemusic/lumineferous-aether-db6c4981?revId=e6a27fae-2932-ed11-b494-000d3a3ee5f3 It's the first track I've played bass guitar on for a few years, so I may have over-egged it a bit in the Rickenbacker department.

I've got one of these too - very nice for everything I throw at it, although it's not the greatest if you want to use the GPU for rendering in, say, Vegas. It can do some offload, but it's not really noticeable. It's a definite step up in performance from my previous (GT700 ?- I can't remember ) - Cakewalk track redraws etc are much smoother now, which surprised me. -
I think it should be: - Dark when collapsed and only one take lane (implicit existence) - Light when expandwd - Shaded in some way when collapsed and more than one take lane
-
I got it a few months back and like it too - I'm not a Moog expert by any means, but it does what it needs to do. The morphing functionality is pretty neat too when you get your head round it.

Longer please! That was really nice to listen to late at night.

Some DirectX effects do behave weirdly with interleave (the old Project 5 ones really fall over badly in some cases).

Ctrl-Windows-S launches the speech recognition wizard, so my guess is a sticky key on the keyboard.
