  1. It's already getting there, think cthulthu chord packs and progressions or some melody packs, drum grooves, vocal chops, all the ez-stuff etc. Music can be made with a mouse, pads or midi keys used to trigger a sequence of chords and not the melody... more of a programming rather than playing music.
  2. Sounds great and could be very useful.. if I could have it for a 'normal' price /moving on
  3. Just came back to say a big thank you again Larry, for your gesture. I re-subscribed in the meantime and managed to get the last call mail with my code too, but then I saw that the dark basses instrument I was eyeballing was excluded from this promotion. What's great though I have found out that I already have it buried deep in my emails so I must have got it somehow a couple months ago, just didn't install it because of lack of space so again, thanks Larry ?
  4. It just occurred to me that I should have been more specific about my question - I mean any difference in feature set or the version of product, rather than price
  5. Is there ANY difference if I buy session horns from e-instruments or at NI? Thx
  6. For sure very light on every resource, top sound and has a massive overdrive, awesome for rock if that's what u do.
  7. Done, both on mine and your request! sorry I should have said "at the top left, right under the topic title"... d'oh ??
  8. Noel is right, it's the second time single click on an item that's highlighted already turns it into rename. Could be gone since there's F2 and right click, that would unclutter the experience. That said, I'd love the whole browser being updated with a simple waveform or a small transport so that we could be able to select/change position when auditioning very long wave files.
  9. well actually I would prefer it to remember it's state even when docked, that's because I would like my project template to have the console view maximized and just pulled down (with D key) so everytime I open or create new project I could just click the D and have the console view full screen in my face
  10. it's just saving the status of the appearance of window, maximized or not maximized, docked or undocked, etc. please
  11. Agreed, Cakewalk has already most of the code to accomplish a sample track. That would be lovely.
  12. +1 I liked ACT, I believe more people could benefit from a more matured revision.
  13. From my experience, yes they do! I'd suggest not giving up, repeat your request or continue topic so it will stay near the top. When more people come into discussion and rate the topic there's much greater chance that Noel and the squad visit it and then something might happen.
  14. doubt it, console view behaves the same when docked - when I maximize it then close it will open resized, I'd say it's something within the cakewalk code
  15. thank you Larry, I'd gladly use it but I think I'm gonna give dee a chance cause he looks like he'd like it even more than me , if that's ok? (didn't want to speak for you... but I did) dee, let me know if you had a good use from the code
  16. and I just unsubscribed to unclutter my mailbox a bit LOL
  17. And I tried to save a template with console docked but maximized to full screen (shift+D) and then just hidden (D again) so when I open or create new project then I can only click D once and have the console docked but full screen with a single click, but it didn't work. Tried even with screensets but no joy either unless I'm doing something wrong. Didn't filddle with workspaces, I'd prefer to have them set to 'none'.
  18. In practice, if you have 10 instruments in your project then few instances of ST4 with 2-3 instruments per each should handle it better than a single ST4 instance with all 10 instruments.
  19. T H A T I S P R E T T Y C L O S E T O W H A T W E W O U L D L O V E T O S E E I N C A K E W A L K A S S A M P L E T R A C K ! ! that plus selectable root note and without the pads as the project's track itself would be a single pad essentially, then we can further process it with the effects ability to cycle through samples in browser smoothly during playback would be essential envelope should be draggable and that's it, built-in the DAW, ready for you anytime, without loading external plugins and taking additional pc resources... and without crashes
  20. that's certainly wrong attitude for this forum... maybe you need to re-hab
