  1. Been waiting for this to either go on sale or popup on eBay / Craigslist/ etc. Great price. Thanks Lars might have missed this.
  2. In other words - if you bought it from us at sale (ie everyone) then no soup for you! Intro price (for new users) $169 is same price as Gig Performer from developer.
  3. Interesting but I'm not wow'd enough by the demo video to drop my panties and shell out $107.40 That it has 11 operators is interesting - hopefully there'll be patches then really shine because they use all 11, but I really don't think there will be many. FWIR Poison (imageline) has 8 operators but that wasn't enough of a feature to get me to switch from FM8 by NI. A great many classic FM patches don't even use the 6 operators spec'ed out for the DX7 family of synths. If adding more operators was the magic formula to sonic nirvana everyone & their mom would have added it to their cupcakes ages ago...
  4. Send their support an email that you didn't get the 50% code. They provided me with one.

    Should I?

S.pending O.n N.everending G.as Except for the label 'Be productive' and possible grammar issues - how are the options in the OP different?
  7. The main thing that I see different from other meters is the Bit Monitor. Still wrapping my head around what value it actually has other than - ooh that's pretty... Cakewalk has an option to automatically remove DC offset as do a number other DAWs, audio interfaces and even plugins. and it might help identify a plugin that doesn't doesn't actually handle the advertised bitrate but not sure how often I'll run into that. Still if you've got something odd happening in your mix and it points you in the right direction it's paid for itself. But like I said initially still trying to wrap my head around it... is it really a useful feature or just eyecandy?
  8. Looks really nice... this code with a $25 monthly voucher drops price to $14.99 That's no-brainer territory... even if you already own a shelf load of nice multi-functional meters.

  11. Larry's right if EW is true to form Opus will be free in 6 months. I'll wait...
  12. None of the download links are working, at least for me, on the new website. The links work on the old web site: https://daichilab.sakura.ne.jp/softsynth/index.html#down
  13. The plugin menu changes in this release are awesome! This alone was worth a new release. Plug-in menu improvements Plug-in menus have been greatly enhanced to make it easier and faster to find and select plug-ins: Plug-in menus show color coded plug-in types (DX/VST2/VST3/32 bit) Large plug-in menus can now show over 1,000 plug-ins Multiple columns appear when applicable Clearer fonts Supports mouse wheel scrolling Supports keyboard navigation: HOME / END PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN Press any alpha-numeric key to go to the first plug-in beginning with that character; press the same character again to go to the next plug-in, etc. Here's a screen shot from my system. Thank you Bakers!

  16. Out of curiosity - anyone actually using MDrummer? Opinions?
  17. At least on my system Multiphonics CV-1's max size comes to1915x1303 pixels (including side panels). You can put as many modules as will fit into the black module area.
  18. There's no way that this in intentional as it makes no business sense. I think you guys have hit upon a glitch in their website which will be gone as soon as they realize the goof. AAS has always given us fair deals and great service. Not to mention the yearly XMas present.
  19. At the end of the video... guess I should actually try using my Korg plugins...
  20. "The VST3 spec has been around for 10 years, and adoption was relatively slow because VST 2.4 worked well. But during those 10 years, manufacturers have refined their code and, by and large, worked out any bugs so VST3 plug-ins are at least as reliable as their VST 2.4 equivalents." Almost choked on my coffee reading that... Many developers are still having issues with their VST3 plugins... for example the last time i checked u-he website was still recommending using the VST2 versions if possible. From u-he's color ColourCopy User Guide: "IMPORTANT: Cubase has a preference “suspend VST3 plug-in processing when no audio signals are received” which cuts off FREEZE after a few seconds unless you keep sending audio or MIDI. The same option also silences normal regenerating delays after a short while. If you are using VST3 and your host includes such an option, either disable it or load Colour Copy in a format other than VST3 (e.g. VST2)!" While the VST3 spec has redeeming features its deployment was a pure marketing move by Steinberg to gain a marketing edge. The VST3 spec was sprung on the development community without their feedback, didn't leverage on the VST2 spec so you virtually had to start from scratch to create your VST3 version, and on the day Steinberg announced the VST3 spec they had all their VST3 versions ready & available for sale. It was 'hey here's then new VST spec - It's VST 3! and oh all off our stuff is now VST3 will only use VST3 format plugins!' In spite of the way VST3 is and has been handled I feel that at this point VST3 is the standard and should be fully supported - but not to the exclusion of VST2.
  21. It's National Crouton Day, so relax... join the observant & eat a salad. According to https://www.holidayscalendar.com it's Ascension Day
  22. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/unfiltered_audio_silo.html I've checked out the demos, not hearing anything that screams to me that it needs to be mine. Of course YMMV and maybe you're having kittens just hearing the demos. Me, I'm passing for now.
  23. Speaking of PA - if someone has a $25 coupon that they won't be using please PM me.
  24. Good news bears repeating... ?? ?? ?... I hope there's no delay in it's release...
  25. "PA Announce Gigperformer 4 to be released in June" Actually that's GigPerformer's update announcement. Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen a word from PA about GP4.
