Pretty much... Debating on picking this up myself. With Image-line dropping direct sales of VSTs don't know if this will popup again on sale. From Sweetwater site:

Wusikstation was one of my early major purchases. Haven't used it in a while but used it a lot for a period of time. Wusikstation has a great GM bank. There are a number of other diamonds buried among the mass quantities of meh. If you got more time than money and money is dear it's a great buy for $27.

Please don't do that. Nobody kids around here except a couple of the old goats who hang around this forum (pun intended). Everything thing we do is deadly serious and there have been casualties. Also Frank does have an anger management issues so it's safer to be someone else when surreptitiously posting.

? You don't need a laser guided nuclear missile to solve most issues; but sometimes having one can come in handy... If you can get past the interface Melda's stuff is pretty powerful.

Math doesn't change on you. Knew someone who was very intelligent (willing to discuss the finer points of string theory or such subjects at the drop of a hat) and was miserable as a software support tech (too many variables and nuances) but quite happy after becoming a math teacher. Some people need things to be very black/white.

Same downloader with a different skin that's all. From what I recall if you install one it overwrites the other -
Not really an update as the 1.2 update has been out for ages - however it can look like one. If you update via Native Access you'll end up with 1.3 BUT it's the same version - there's a known, we're not bothering to fix this, version# discrepancy between NA & Sonokinetic app. And then the Sonokinetic app will show an update is available. Edit: Same issue for Chime. SA 1.2 = NA 1.3 If you upgrade them to 1.3 through NA the SA will show an update is available to 1.2 `

Support got back to me a link for Gatekeeper but not Wider. Said to use web portal which doesn't work.

+1 What about you Lars?

Voucher don't work on all PA's plugins - HG-2MS is a case in point. They only worked on GP3 when it was approaching end of life. I'm holding out on updating to GP4 just in case a better (or fairer to people who paid more) deal comes along but not holding my breathe.
-
PSP makes some solid plugins. Can't comment on PSP HertzRider2 as it's not, as they say, my cup of tea and I don't own it.
-
Not everyone paid $25 or less for GP from PA so a one sized upgrade price is not ideal.

How much a month is the Meh level subscription? The one where they don't give you access to any plugins but still charge you a monthly WUP fee...

Vimana features 4,083 designed sound effects with a high-tech extraterrestrial aesthetic. Sound designer Ivo Ivanov brings us a massive collection of brand new science fiction sounds including high-tech UI effects, mutated biomechanical organisms, morphing flybys, shape-shifting dimensional rifts, twisted humanoid articulations and ancient alien artefacts that defy categorization. Vimana comes with 4.7 GB of 24-bit/96 kHz .wav audio content that is equally geared toward music production, game audio and multimedia applications. Whether you’re working on a blockbuster sci-fi shooter game, a modern electronic music album or a high-tech multimedia project, you will undoubtedly find this collection to be an indispensable resource. While our sound effects are carefully designed to work with your favourite samplers and DAWs, they pair up particularly well with our own brand of audio contortion devices. Our wide selection of packs grant Polygon and Cataract users access to thousands of fresh ingredients.

For $10 it's worth adding to my glitchmachine collection. </curmudgeon mode=on> The Windows installer is a totally non-intuitive, minimalist piece of garbage. It doesn't tell you crap. Unless you've read the User Guide (and who reads the UG just to install a plugin?) you're left wondering WTF happened and how did I bollix that up? Looks like the only VST installed is a 64 bit VST3 version. If there is a VST2 version is installed I haven't found it yet looking in the usual places and I don't feel like searching my whole system for it. When you run the VST3 it'll ask for the sample folder location which you'll need to have manually placed somewhere. As far as installing things the User Guide only has minimal info on installing - for example doesn't tell you what VSTs get installed. A real installer could have done the whole job elegantly. Or at least displayed coherent instructions. </curmudgeon mode=off>
