    Aloha!

I guess Larry found himself a deal... Enjoy.
  3. Annie's take on it: The sale'll come out tomorrow ♫ Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow ♪ There'll be a sale!! Just thinkin' about tomorrow ♪ Clears away the cobwebs and the sorrow 'Til there's none When I'm stuck with a day that's grey and lonely ♫ I just stick up my chin and grin and say, oh The sale'll come out tomorrow ? So you gotta hang on 'til tomorrow Come what may! ?
  4. LOL, that hasn't stopped me, my keyboard chops suck. MIDI editing and the Piano Roll View are my friends.
  5. My system is running low on disk space - I almost bought this last week at the higher price. Thanks @cclarry Pulled the trigger (PayPal payments). The Crucial P3 Plus M.2 2280 4TB that was mentioned on this forum several weeks ago was significantly cheaper but it's PCI-Express 3.0 instead of 4.0 and my system supports 4.0.
  6. Maybe, but the demos sound lovely. Full sounding, no harshness in the high end, fast staccato notes sound balanced & real - makes my wallet want to crawl out of my pocket and spit my credit card at me. If I didn't have more piano libs that I will ever use, I'd have bought it.
  7. Thought I'd check to see if maybe there might be something worthwhile picking up at this price and... My PA account is gone? ? Thought maybe I just needed to reset my account password but my email is no longer recognized, get message that no account is connected to that email. ? Sent message to support. Wonder if my account got hacked. Edit: My account is now back and working. Don't think I'm missing anything but will have to verify later. No email / explanation from PA. Glad that it's back but still slightly uncomfortable over it.
  8. https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/big-clipper-2/ Edit: I own both big & little v1, my upgrade w code was $9 Thanks for post.
  9. What I listened to of the preview sounded nice but after consideration I've decided to pass up this deal because, like you, I have synths well covered.
  10. Really trying to keep my spending in check, so I don't know if I should thank you or not...
  11. Trials are for Linux & Mac only. Windows demo link is near the bottom of the web page.
  12. Looks cool. Price is not unreasonable and they have a 1 week free trial.
  13. Depending on what I own and what updates are being posted I'm sometime firing it up a couple of times a week. With NA1 was not an issue, with NA2 - if this remains the experience I'm going try like hell to avoid installing or updating anything related to NI.
  14. Installed v3.3 because I was missing updates. I now have the updates but gaaawd... They must have it running in debug mode - I'm using a i7 with abundant resources and it runs sooo slowly. No excuse for such crappy performance in a publicly released app.
  15. I think the confusion is because the effect rack can be purchased as a standalone produce. If you have 5.2 the effect rack is included and would assume that with 5.3 that is still true (but we'll find out) The way they have announced things is a bit confusing.
  16. PRICING SuperPlate will be sold individually for $149 MSRP or as a trade-up from Little Plate to SuperPlate for $59. Soundtoys 5.4 will be available for $499 MSRP or as an upgrade from Soundtoys 5.3 to 5.4 for $59. SuperPlate can be added to the Effect Rack plug-in for $59.
  17. I have the PSP 285 - doubt if I need this, but will at some point check it out.
  18. I'm waiting for NI's summer sale, typically 50% off.
  19. The libraries are different (see link below), so probably not. Kontakt Factory Library 2 Update: Per NI forum thread: Very Quick Question about Kontakt Factory Library 2 "Most of KFL1 is also included in KFL2" it appears the Library includes a subset of Library 1.
  20. I tried installing Bapu on my system and failed, turned out my reasoning was baseless.
  21. Forum configuration - Please limit # of tags permitted on a post. The tagging system has been abused to the point where they are ignored by most users. Personally I think 3 tags should be the limit.
  22. The policy in question is to prevent posts where the poster makes a profit from the links shared. The policy does cut down significantly on the spamming this forum was getting hit with i.e. same deal constantly being reposted or updated so as to keep it on first page.
  23. Just a note if you even think there's possibility that your song/project is going to be reworked or remixed in 30 or more years you probably should export stems as the likelyhood of your project opening in your 2053 DAW are remote. Edit: I wish I would have done that for a couple things I did with Project 5...
  24. <sigh> I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Modular is not everyone's cup of tea and I'm sure a lot of people jump in and then never come to terms with it and then at some point look to sell it.
