I bought this for $19 last year... Was worth picking up then, now that it's free please feel free to list your excuses as to why you don't have it.

I think I'll wait till I've got something to install (like another Labs instrument) or I hear of a library update. Too many other updates / installs that actually do something going on right now.

Any special about Softube's Vocoder? I've got several others (Waves, etc.) and wondering if theirs adds anything new or different.

The past couple of years I've been keeping my Waves licenses on a small USB that lives on my USB hub, haven't had any problems with it.

Brillant marketing on Waves part - like the Coke/Coke Classic move in 1985 regardless of their motivations it raised Cokes profits that year 14%. For Wave - tons of free publicity, lots of sales generated by people trying to obtain permanent licenses or WUP before the deadline and they flushed out all the old license codes that were out in the wild. Despite some potentially grump customers - a win/win situation for Waves.

Every friggen time. You have to run it twice to show updates or results from having updated. You run it, it downloads the data, you run it again and it processes the previously downloaded data and shows the results.

While sh**ty, I'm sure the current confusion is benefiting Waves by people upgrading or purchasing licenses before the deadline. So I'm not expecting clarification until afterward the deadline.

This news is from a 3rd party reseller. I've yet to hear from Waves that they will stop selling perpetual licenses or WUP after March 26th..

Could be that as of March 26th that Waves will be the only source of perpetual licenses?

Yes - with the caveat that I haven't been following price cycles on SSDs. But I'm not seeing anything close to that price for a 4TB m.2. I'm considering picking one up and putting it in an external drive housing.

@hadada Thanks, totally forgot about CWAF. Not sure how but my Folder Settings under Preferences got altered. Do you by chance know what is the default setting/folder for Play List? Think I got all the rest.

I just noticed that my Start Screen \ New Project window is now missing all the templates... Not sure when it happened other than fairly recently.
