  1. Sooner or later I'll pick up Echo Cat. I've got the hardware version and have always loved it. I haven't fired it up in a while because the tape loop is shot and I need to buy a real of 1/4" mag tape to replace it.
  2. A friend has 4 kids and we were joking about buying one for each kid. Available for substantially less on Temu Don't know if they're knockoffs or not but I've bought a variety of things off Temu and not had issues. Supposedly Temu is trying to gain turf from Amazon by undercutting their prices (don't know if it's true but remember reading it).
  3. Looks like they improved last weeks sales discounts on some stuff i.e. increased discount on Trackspacer from 30% to 35%
  4. I just ran my SDA and the first thing it did was update to version 1.35.0 and it opened up. Reran it and no issues. Rereading your announcement on the OP - the old version will cease to function tomorrow... but the new version works now. If you don't run the SDA today and have it update - your SOL and have to do a manual update before it works again.

  6. I should have fired the singer in my last band and replaced him with this...
  7. Edit: from research on the web it looks like UVI vouchers are issued in early Jan and your voucher varies from around 10% to 20% of your web site purchases the preceding year - depending on how much you spent and the amount of fairy dust the UVI elves have been sharing.
  8. Re Augmented Orchestra - does purchasing it from UVI get you any coupons/vouchers?
  9. Another ToneX nube here... How the heck do you download presets listed in the Top 10 newsletter? I end up on the web page; https://www.tone.net/tonex/top10 and can't figure out how to download them. Do I have to copy the preset name and paste it into ToneX to locate & download it?
  10. I also had my eyes on Bazille. It wasn't on the menu for the NI 50% sale.

  14. Musician's Friend has periodic 10 to 15% off sales which I've heard are an excellent way to save on Omnisphere but you need to get on their mailing list to get your discount code. The code won't work for various items on the web but if you call them they'll often let you use it. And you can use your reward points for further discounts. Last deal expired Nov 12th. They'll probably have another such sale before year's end.
  15. If you buy from UAD you do not end up with additional iLok licenses. They just don't re-add existing licenses.
  16. Oy - just received an email from PluginDiscounts that after all the drama that they were able to fulfil my order and get my codes. Don't know how many of these orders they were able to fix or if they only got a few and because I was communicating with them I got 'lucky' but now I've purchased the UAD bundle twice. So if you tried to purchase from PluginDiscounts - check your emails to see if they sent you your license code before buying it again from UAD.
  17. PluginDiscounts refunded my purchase and I received the following email: No bad feelings towards PluginDiscounts. In the end it worked out in my favor. I turned around and bought it at UAD using a $25 coupon/voucher that would have expired Dec 1st.
  18. Just got my upgrade offer from UAD via email. Waiting to hear from PluginDiscounts if they are able to fulfil my order or will be refunding my money. Note: I also got an offer from UAD for UAD Producer Edition for $50
  19. Same here... <sigh> if I waited I could have saved a bit more as I have Diamond and still an active $25 discount coupon.
  20. Or maybe they just didn't like it... BTW I too find UADs actions disconcerting.
