So .. they're probably having a similar sale on Adagio Cellos & Adagio Violins both of which were recently updated.
Question in my mind is does the new update really add a significant amount of value to these?
The items I own I bought on sale for $28 or $29 so while I'm glad they updated the library to their current billion lines of code interface I'm not sure that justifies rebuying the libraries. Doesn't give me the warm fuzzies about dealing with 8dio either but then maybe I'm just in an irritated mood. -

I bought my first guitar at 17 from my 'best' friend and paid $25.
I found out later that he had found it in a trash can while walking with another friend. He didn't like the original look and tried to refinish it. At some point he must have realized that his refinishing skills were on par with his guitar playing skills and then sold it to me.
It was a horrible instrument - crooked neck & the bridge was a piece of slotted wood; but it was mine.
That junky guitar started my on a journey that continues to this day...

Voxengo has released SPAN Plus version 1.6 - an extended real-time "fast Fourier transform" audio spectrum analyzer plug-in for professional music and audio production applications.

SPAN Plus is an extended version of the freeware SPAN plug-in: SPAN Plus provides several additional features such as PNG file export, real-time spectrum import/export and static spectrums display.
Version 1.6 includes the following changes:
This version improved smoothness of real-time graphics draws on Windows systems, now graphics is drawn with a lot better timing precision and less stuttering. This, however, may increase CPU load in comparison to the previous version: if this is unacceptable to you, simply decrease the "Frames Per Second" global Voxengo plugin setting.
SPAN Plus is designed to provides a very flexible "mode" system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum's visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination.
SPAN Plus supports multi-channel analysis and can be set to display spectrums from two different channels or channel groups at the same time. Spectrum's color can be chosen to taste.
SPAN Plus also features output level metering with adjustable ballistics and integration time, K-metering (including calibration K-metering). SPAN Plus displays level metering statistics, headroom estimation and clipping detection. Correlation metering is available as well.
