Lol quote of the day !!! no he's cool , i'm super no joke with kids and got out of Paris center cause of this exact thing ... , when kids are in kitchen doing their thing , they ask Alexa stuff like Queens , Beegees ect ....lol no trap crap or stuff like that so i guess , i do have a small impact lol (coming from a Hip Hop Producer , ain't that something !!)
My wife has always said that our goal as parents (aside from all the other stuff) was to raise our kids so that they would require the minimal amount of therapy as adults.
God, there were times when I thought we had utterly failed in that; but so far it's looking good. I do regret that none of my kids has any real interest in audio/music other than as a causal consumer. You can give a kid an instrument but unless they have the fire in the belly it'll end up in the closet.-

I don't recall where and who mentionned the Phase Plant but this looks killer !! kinda lost with options ....
If you have it with the rest of the Kilohearts there's tons of options.
But how good does the synth really sound? I've got a number of synths I can throw Kilohearts on top of.
I'm going to try & demo it in the next day or so... -
Now $347
Great capacity, even at new price compared to list price $1,799? or over $1,000 on web this would seem like a great deal.Still...
Anyway, here is a review

You have to download it from the Custom Shop under T-Racks 5 > Other then click TRY.
Thanks Jesse.
In Custom Shop if you click on ad for the Tape Machines it only shows you links to Buy and a More Info which doesn't tell you how to obtain trail. I just wasn't looking in the right area. Also it wasn't showing up in my T-Racks 5 because it needed an update and didn't indicate it.
Don't know why they can't include the info or link to that info on their web site (or in Custom Shop).
Bad business to not enable potential customers in finding what they need.
In my case this led me to checking out u-he's Satin which I now think better suits my needs.
I'm still going to check this out but IKM's web design flaw probably cost them a sale. -

I m doîg a death match bewteen pigment and massive x and both have wiknessess and strength ...
i do think pigment could have been way better and a definite classic ... the step sequencer is a nice addition and can also be better ...
I'd be interested in how either (or both) compare against Phase Plant.

Large hassle...
I got the proper code the 1st time from JRR.
About the same amount of hassle (registering iLok, activating, etc.) as an Eventide plugin. -

Has anyone used this? It seems to have a lot of potential but is it really useful in practice?
I have it and have used it.
The ability to use any plugin or combination of plugins in a multiband scenario and control/automate any** parameter of it (such as the widths of the bands) or the plugins used - make this a beast.
**at least everything I tested it on.
Possible Cons:- No built in LFO(s)
-
I saw a post somewhere that that there's phase issues at the crossover frequencies.
Don't know if this is true or not, I have not noticed this, at least with what I've been doing or seen other instances of complaint.
And I don't know if MB7s phase issues are any worse that any other non-linear phase multiband or EQ plugin.
If it sounds like something you're interested in check out the demo version. With some of these multi-featured plugins (Kilohearts, Melda, etc) its more a matter of whether they fit your style as opposed to whether or not they can do the job.

(queue up you favorite blues backing track, take 2 shots of bourbon, hit record and scream into a cheap mic...)

So don't let me hear you whining in the morning
because boy <or girl> I gave you warning

From what i recall reading here & there...
- Samsung is probably slightly faster, but this one ain't bad..
This drive uses cheaper chips whose cells can wear out/fail but it's intentionally over provisioned, ie they have extra cells on standby to be dynamically used when failure occurs and according to the specs this is supposed to give comparable life.
I'm just a bit leary because my hard drives get put through a lot of wear & tear.
