If you already have it, then do you not already have it ?

If it was totally efficient, wouldn't the toilet be in the kitchen?

Opened my existing CPC installation (1.0.0.28) got a message saying that this version has "expired" and needed updating. It has been "getting updates" now for over 30 minutes. Seems a bit excessive !! EDIT: Over an hour now.....binned it. EDIT 2: Downloaded CPC again and installed it. Now showing as v1.0.0.051 and seems to be functioning.

I can not put microfone wire in the computer. How else I can record the voice with sonah? Good boy!

Yeah, sorry, I realise that. I meant the updates to 8.0. They do not show up for me. As I said, it doesn't really matter to me personally, just thought it worth mentioning in case it's ever a problem for someone else. While I was there I was just going to grab the 8.3.1 update file that I couldn't find when I was looking at my old files for you in case anyone else ever needed it.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that this page still existed. FWIW, in my case under 8.0 Pro it says there are no download links available. I'm not bothered about this personally as I have 8.5 Pro and all the update patches for that, which I guess contains everything that was ever in 8.0 Pro anyway, but I'm just mentioning it in case it might be a problem for anyone else.

I only had 8.0 Producer version so I can't help you with Studio version.

I can't find an 8.3.1. Is that definitely the correct version number ?

It's ok to sit down. We're not formal here. -

That's like so 2023. You need to move with the times..... 2024 is all about day-glo workwear and the faint whiff of bin juice only partially masked by Lynx Africa. -

Come on man, it's obviously the juxtaposition between the braying mob's ironic intent and the fact that the apparent subject of their collective rage lives in house number 12 rather than the far more pressing issue that the local council have announced their intent to only empty the bins bi-weekly from next month in order to facilitate then new fortnightly bin-men's story hour at local libraries. -
Just in case, if you see someone carrying a violin case with a bandlab logo on it, get out of there asap.

Unless you are one of those who paid for them and must also now accept that your lifetime is over. ?

[CLOSED] Cakewalk 2024.02 Early Access
paulo replied to Morten Saether's topic in Early Access Program
Because they won't be able to install the new version on their pc even if they wanted to ? Also, until fairly recently I think it's fair to say that the impression was very much given that users would never be locked out of their older projects- that even if the program/company ceased to exist - something would be done to ensure that scenario wouldn't happen. That doesn't seem to be the case any more so if some people are now feeling a bit nervous about being a Cakewalk user all over again then I can understand that. -
I'd go as far to say that anyone who does have one needs to have a nice sit down and spend some time trying to pinpoint exactly when it was that they became so stupid and then set about reversing as many decisions they have made since then as possible.

When I picked up my car the dealership wanted to put a free app on my phone that would apparently tell me how much fuel was in the car at any given time. I asked the guy is that not what the fuel gauge is for and he replied...yes, but the app can tell you when you're not in the car or not using it. I asked why I would need to know how much fuel I had if I wasn't in the car and not using it and then he looked at me like I was the stupid one. ?

Many moons ago I did some decorating for a relative... hallway, stairs and upstairs landing. When it was all done the light fittings and switches (white) looked very yellowed with age, so I took it upon myself to replace them all. I'm not an electrician by any means and the three way switching meant that it wasn't totally as straightforward as just replacing a regular one light/one switch set up, but I figured that I could trust myself enough to draw a diagram of which wire went where and replicate that, so I went out and bought 3 new switches/3 new light fittings and 3 new bulbs. I drew my diagrams and replaced everything with new. Looked much better, but one small snag... none of them worked. So I took each thing apart again checked all the connections were good, checked it v the diagram - all good - and then spent some time in head scratching mode. I checked and re-checked and it was all as I believed it should be. In the end I had to leave having not solved the problem. The next door neighbour was an electrician so I told her she would have to ask him to have a look when he came home and to call me if he needed any information on what I had done. I heard nothing that evening, so the next day I called and asked her if she spoke to the electrician. She said she did and he came in and had them all on within minutes. He never charged her anything, but said to just give me a message next time we spoke. The message was that I was very good at doing the wiring part, but not quite so good at checking if the bulbs actually worked ! ? I obviously should have thought of that, but they were all brand new, bought that day and all three were defective - what were the chances?

For me PIB login has been a PITA for a long time - only works in private mode and then multiple captchas (sometimes into double figures) before it will let me in. Honestly, I can't remember the last time they had any offers that were even slightly appealing to me. I've never been asked before to change my password in however many years I've had an account with them, so it's totally BS to claim that it is their normal practice. I'm not sure I can even be bothered to jump through the amount of hoops it takes with them any more.

Sorry, you can't see this reply because you do not have permission to see it.

I'm surprised that it didn't turn it into *****. That's what happens when I type *****.

At least you spelt "for" and "questionable" correctly. If only Meat Loaf was still around...He would probably have found that to be reasonably acceptable.

How to disable this new Sonar splash screen when launching Cakewalk?
paulo replied to tdehan's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Mouse click and yes, the position of the scrollbar (as per the OP pic) suggests that there is something else below the currently visible area (why else would there be scrollbars ?) but trying to use them either during the countdown or even after it has finished just locks everything up for a few minutes up as I described.
