Maybe it's just me, but them "paying" people more to give products better ratings just means that whatever rating a product has on their site is quite likely to be complete BS.

The thing with SD3 is that the install is so big that at the time I couldn't have installed it on my pc if I had wanted to because of not enough HD space to take it. So then I would be looking at buying/installing a new HD too, as a minimum, just to get an upgrade because they placed some arbitrary date on when I have to upgrade by. Their loss. I'm sure SD3 is great and all, but in truth it's probably a little OTT for my needs anyway, so I haven't exactly lost any sleep over it, but it just seems mad to actively set out to alienate any potential customers not only for SD3 but also other their other products as due to this kind of behaviour I wouldn't buy anything else at all from them now.

I have no problem with them saying that new stuff only works with the new version so you have to have that first or you can't use it, but telling me that unless I buy it now I will no longer be recognised as an existing customer beyond that date is just indefensible IMO.

The products may be good, but their upgrade now or else policy is disgraceful IMO.

From what coverage I managed to see of NAMM 2020, the bandlab stall didn't seem to even have a CW section on it and they were just pushing some new bandlab feature that was so impressive I can't even remember what it was. I did see one video where the presenter/interviewer tried to turn the conversation on to the CW DAW and paraphrasing here the bandlab rep pretty much said, " yeah we have that too" before very quickly turning the conversation back to whatever the bandlab thing was. The lack of any CW response to this thread at all (a bit poor IMO, but maybe replies to individuals were sent via PM and I do CW/Noel a disservice by making the assumption that the thread has just been ignored) and also the lack of anything posted in the main forum about any CW stand seems to back up the impression that CW wasn't really represented for some reason. Maybe it's just considered to be old news now compared to the latest bright and shiny toy. Whatever the case, probably time to bury this thread rather than have it pinned up top looking for all the world like people who took the time to respond were just completely blanked.

Are they not displayed on your "Dashboard" section? Mine are. I know what you mean though. I've only dealt with them a few times and probably given up on something as being too much aggro the same amount of times. It almost seems like they go out of their way to team up with vendors who delight in making the whole hoop jumping experience as painful as possible. Bizarre really seeing as how the point of these kind of deals is presumably to lure you in and feel inclined to deal with them again and again. First impressions and all that.
