  1. If this is the same device that is used by windows then make sure that windows sound has the sample rate and bit depth set to the same thing you are trying to set it too in Cakewalk
  2. You may want to check the "plugin load balancing" setting and try it both checked and un-checked. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=NewFeatures.017.html
  3. More important question is what are you using for an audio device to record and playback? This sounds like you are recording a mono signal to a stereo track. Toggle the track interleave button. I would suggest you watch some of the beginning tutorials in the tutorials forum and/or look at the documentation which has a few getting started tutorials as well.
  4. Are there any other ASIO drivers installed on your system? If so uninstall them. Is this device your default Windows audio device as well? If it is you will have to make sure that windows settings and your project settings are the same, Or, don't use this audio device as the windows default audio device.
  5. Find the VST file (dll, vst3 extension) and delete it from you hardrive. Or, if there is an un-installer in "Add Remove Programs" uninstall it from there
  6. Pitch bend is also dependent on the settings of the VSTi so check Ample Guitar for what pitch bend should do.
  7. It could be that the window you have on your second monitor is just another window to cakewalk or windows so when you open a new window all the others go to the back?
  8. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.49.html On my computer the "K" key mutes and unmutes. There is also a tool to swipe and mute or unmute.
  9. I think he is saying that the groove clip from which the groove is coming needs to be as long as the clip your going to apply the groove to. I don't use this feature so I would have to point you to the documentation. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Dialogs2.001.html
  10. You can always "pin" a window by clicking on the pin button at the top right
  11. Are all the notes in one clip or multiple clips? Select all clips and bounce them into one clip.
  12. Plugin manager or the Browser https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033405834-Using-the-Plug-in-Manager-
  13. You can also ask for help by submitting a support request at Support@cakewalk.com
  14. Yes, It is a problem with midi input and midi output. Make sure that the midi tracks really are outputting to two different instances of Komplete Kontrol. Make sure that the two instances of the plugin are using different midi channels or that the midi input is not set to omni or none. Check that Komplete Control is not set to output midi. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Beginners.06.html
  15. For #2 please read this page in the documentation. You can "override" a group temporarily by holding down "ctrl" https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.42.html
  16. I would suggest starting in the "Tutorials" Sub forum, as well as the manual https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  17. Not in Cakewalk, A chord track has been requested but does not yet exist.
  18. From my understanding all the EZX and SDX come with midi packs as part of the instrument. When they release a midi pack with a similar name as the EZX it has new midi files in it
  19. First off, This is probably not the correct forum section to post a question, this is the tutorials section. However, You may need to clarify some things. When you play the project do any of the meters move showing audio is flowing through the system? Are you getting a warning of some kind? IF the meters are moving then you have audio in your project it just isn't getting out to your audio interface. Please include the following: Audio interface being used Driver Mode Screenshot of your audio preferences
  20. When you use your bluetooth headphones it probably changed the default audio device in windows. If using a windows driver mode (WASAPI) you have to make sure that the sample rate is the same for windows and cakewalk.
  21. The new Helix driver, can't remember the version #, has a bug with Cakewalk. You have to uninstall it and use the previous older version. If this doesn't fix your problem then you might have a different issue.
  22. In short, yes, you can take snapshots of any automatable parameters. You would need to add an automation lane for each parameter. The bigger question I have is why are they changing? Are you changing them or are they controlled by the patch itself, VCOs or envelope?
  23. I have seen this before, not necessarily with Neutron, but some plugins use not only CPU cycles but also Graphics that can slow the display update rate of Cakewalk down. Is it slow only when the Neutron UI is up?
  24. I understand what your confusion is but think I know what is going on. When you play back the track do you hear the "muted" audio? The parent track, for audio at least, isn't just a sum of all the take lanes. It only has what you promoted to it. if you "swipe" across the bottom part of your 2nd take I bet the parent track will not show the muted audio. The parent track probably has a combination of both take lanes in it, did you record on "sound on sound" mode?, and then you muted part of the 1st take, This doesn't update the parent track because it only represents the takes that you promote. Swipe across the 2nd take and you should see the parent track represent what is in the 2nd take lane. As your noticing, for midi tracks, this behavior might be different.
  25. Tried it, It said it was only valid for the first 2500 customers?
