  1. I am pretty sure you can have multiple articulations but they have to not be dependent. When you create the articulation maps you specify which ones are exclusive and which ones can be independent by creating different group,. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=EditingMIDI.51.html
  2. Are you sure in your midi example that the clip showing in the track is actually not selected for the track? What I mean is that when you are comping you don't actually mute notes or audio you promote the piece of the take lane you want to be in your track by swiping, with the smart tool, in the bottom part of the take lane you want. it will then split the take into a clip where you did the swipe and promote that part of that take to the track and disable all other takes in that time range. They appear different but are not really muted, just not going to play in the current track. If you just mute audio and midi notes then the takes that are active then they are still part of the track just individually muted. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Arranging.57.html
  3. Send in the project to Cakewalk support (Support@cakewalk.com) and maybe they can figure out why it would do that?
  4. Cakewalk often will record the issue in a crashdump file. Usually it is a plug-in. Would be useful for you to post your audio interface, driver mode etc. Follow the instructions below and/or contact Support@cakewalk.com
  5. I would have to look at it again, not at my DAW, right now, but they way I do cymbal "chokes" or mutes is to have the cymbal play and then play the cymbal choke or mute articulation anytime during decay of the cymbal. It plays a sample that is the drummer grabbing the cymbal to mute it.
  6. I was hoping they would do these. I have demoed them and they do sound good out of the box. I have lots of amp sims so was not ready to jump unless they got to this level.
  7. There is also a mute articulation that you can apply that will silence a ringing cymbal and mute it like someone grabbing it.
  8. For #1 I don't know of a way to copy markers from one Project to another Project. Maybe with a project template you could save the markers and then start a new project? For #2, You can copy automation from one track to another so if you did your fades with automation you could copy that from one track to another. I don't know of any way to copy the fade points from one clip to another.
  9. I would imagine that there are midi files for many cover songs but I don't know of a specific place for them. Google would be your best bet to start off with.
  10. I wish they would do a flash sale on Plini, Nolly or Petrucci
  11. It also could be a driver issue. Check what driver mode you are using. Make sure that some other application didn't slip an unwanted driver in.
  12. Looks like clip volume automation to me. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Automation.02.html
  13. Please look through the cakewalk documentation and the tutorials forum for help getting setup. http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/Home https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  14. thanks, I didn't have that one.
  15. What does the signal look like with no EQ added? Also, even in the Cakewalk graph that "noise" is down about 130db. I certainly could not hear that.
  16. You could submit a request to cakewalk support at Support@cakewalk.com. However, this is probably an issue with the plugin, so contacting the plugin developer or trying a different video card or video driver/settings might make a difference.
  17. This usually means that windows or some other application is using the same audio card as Cakewalk is trying to use. Best to look at some of the tutorials in the tutorials forum. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  18. Anybody know how this compares/differs from Sonible Smart EQ3?
  19. Sounds like you need to submit a support request/bug report (Support@cakewalk.com). If you can reproduce this with a simple project send it to them so they can fix it.
  20. Upgrades are also on sale on the Arobas website for about $28
  21. This is from msmcleod: The easiest way to remedy this: 1. Select All 2. Adjust the beginning of the selection to where you want the project to actually end 3. Enable Ripple Edit All 4. Press the Delete key.
  22. Check your sound settings in Windows to see if there is a separate volume for the headphone out. How are your speakers connected?
  23. This is probably more of a Waves issue. I would reach out to them to have them help you trouble shoot your issue.
