I'm still waiting for that “Talent” VSTi

By Default, ALT-F brings up the File menu > then S does the save.... On mine, I have assigned ALT-F to something else all together....(Edit | Select by filter)
-
I just use Versioning (last 5). Autosave for me, very intermittently, attempted to do the save when I was doing an intentional save - resulting in a corrupted CWP file (had to restore from previous version) I have mapped F2 to Save so I just have to tap F2 every so often. Versioning has actually saved my kaboose more often than Autosave ever would have.

Try this. At the end of your projects. Put an MCI Command: Pause See: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.081.html

Changing Mixing Latency Causes Unresponsive Condition
Promidi replied to Ken Chatman's question in Q&A
One thing you might want to try is this. On a none firefox browser (EG Edge or Chrome) , head over to beta.focusrite.com and download the BETA drivers for the Scarlet 1820 interface. The release notes therein specifically mention Cakewalk by Bandlab. -
What happens if you set the export folder in preferences | File | Folder locations (bottom of list)
-
Actually, I just opened a CWP file , and this indeed created an "Audio Export" folder in the folder where the CWP resides. This was from within cakewalk - double clicking in the CWP file does the same thing. This folder was created as soon as I opened the file. I did not even open up the export dialogue box. This folder was not removed after I Closed cakewalk (I did not do a save) FWIW, I have set a specific folder location for exports in Preferences | File | Folder Locations > Export Audio Files. So it looks like there might be a little bug in there somewhere

This does not happen on my system when I open a midi file to play it with cakewalk. The only change I have made is that I have set a specific folder location for exports in Preferences | File | Folder Locations > Export Audio Files.

Cakewalk becomes unresponsive during export
Promidi replied to Justin Riley's topic in Feedback Loop
Have you tried increasing the “Bounce Buffer size” (under "Format” on the export dialogue) As a test, have you tried not including FX for the export? (under “Mix and render” on the export dialogue) Have you tried updating your Vdist runtimes? See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads -

[Solved] XPand!2 not recognized as a VST
Promidi replied to Heinz Hupfer's topic in Instruments & Effects
Did you try a reset then rescan? -
Did you try updating your graphics driver before you reverted to the previous version?

I just download from the UVI website......

I was being serious. A backup has, on many occasions, saved my caboose.

FULL Version of Kontakt 5.6.8+ is required

Try Start + run "control powercfg.cpl,,1" (without quotes) and set CPU Min and Max to 100% Try disabling C-states and Intel Speedsteep (This is done in the PC's BIOS and the method varies between PCs) In preferences | Audio | Configuration File try adjusting the following: EnableSetThreadIdealProcessor = False MixThreadCount = {number of cores minus 1} You might like to exit Cakewalk by Bandlab, go to the following folder and make a copy of the AUD.INI file before doing this: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core

That function would depend on the VSTi that you are using? many VSTis let you have a user defined pitch bend range as a synth parameter. Which VSTi are you using?
