  1. Trust me, you'll know. When you go to save, computer (well, actually CbB) says "no".. Just make sure it's not mid project and it's been a while between saves, but yeah, get Sonar Free (or get a Bandlab Membership)
  2. Yeah, I have used this since I went to Windows 10 (in 2015) It's good to know that it works on 11.... one day I will have to bite the bullet and upgrade.... (My PC is officially unsupported, so Rufus it is..)
  3. This is already possible. I have made some of my own.
  4. In fact even a mediocre PC will
  5. More information would be handy..... Driver mode? Latest Focusrite Drivers? Sample rate and bit Depth? PC specs? Etc.
  6. You are probably better off logging a ticket at the following link: https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Make sure to include a crash dump file with your lodgement and maybe a copy of your project file (sans audio files)
  7. This is changed in the Project’s Notes section. The J field determines the text you have indicated. See: http://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=CakewalkSonar&language=3&help=Browser.10.html
  8. With some Colour Schemes, when Ripple Edit is active, it can be easy to miss due to it not being as prominent as it could be. For example, with the “Dark” Colour Scheme, an active Ripple Edit status shows only the button text, “All” or “Section” and small icon, as orange. I think all with Colour Schemes, the entire Ripple Edit button needs to be a colour other than grey. For instance, with the “Dark” Colour Scheme, the entire Ripple Edit button needs to be orange This will make it easy to see. I think this is important because an inadvertently left enabled Ripple Edit can cause unintended edits. Of course, a solution is to use the Tungsten Colour Scheme. However, some people may not wish to do that, just to get a more prominent active Ripple Edit button.
  9. Yes, you can still open and view Project files in CbB once CbB is deactivated. You just won't be able to save or export from a deactivated CbB.
  10. I have to admit - I went scorched earth on Syntronik 2 and got rid of all my Syntronik 2 stuff..... Having Synth Anthology 4, Arturia V-Collection 10 and Sample Tank 4 Max (Sans Syntronik 2) seemed a bit redundant. Also, there is quite a bit of sonic overlap, even within Syntronik 2 itself). Also, by ditching Syntronik 2, I also gained back quite a bit of drive space.
  11. IKM moves in mysterious ways.....
  12. Depends. Any version that contains plugins that you (or previous required projects) are using is the one that you need to keep. Reinstall Sonar if you choose to remove SONAR Platinum or Cakewalk by Bandlab. Personally, I removed Cakewalk by Bandlab, kept SONAR Platinum, then reinstalled Sonar 2025.
  13. Confirmed. Maybe lodge a ticket. https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  14. Definitely something funky going on there. What happens if you rename those files, then uninstall LPEQ & LPMB using “Programs and Features”and then reinstall using CCC?
  15. What is your PC locale? Mine shows english readable text with the words EnableOpenGL="1" therein. My locale is English Australia
  16. 30 GB of hard disk space for each piano title. That’s 300gig for the lot.
  17. I just checked my CCC, and they show up as separate entries on the main screen (last 2 items, under “Connected Products”. They are listed as follows: L-Phase Equalizer L-Phase Multiband. Both appear correctly in Sonar 2025.
  18. Ah ok. Still try the file mod.
  19. These plugins use Opengl 3.2 You have a i7 3930. For a CPU that old, you might want to consider disabling the CPUs graphic chipset and getting a graphics card. I have a 4th gen i5 and I have done that. I have a GTX960. For yours, try this: 1. In your Sonar resources folder, look for LPEQ.cws and LPMB.cws 3. Open in notepad and look for the words EnableOpenGL="1" 4. Change to EnableOpenGL="0" 5. Save the files See if you can see the GUIs If so, then it's your graphics adapter.
  20. I have just put a feature request to add an option to delete unused Patch Points without having to save and reopen project.
  21. In the Sonar help guide, under “To delete patch points”, it states “When you open a project, Sonar automatically deletes any unused patch points in the project” This means to delete unused Patch Points in a given project, one has to save and reopen project to do so. This can take a while for large projects. Can we please have an option to delete unused Patch Points without having to save and reopen project?
  22. When you open a project, Sonar automatically deletes any unused patch points in the project. So, to delete those 21 points, and they are unused, all you have to do is save and then reopen your project.
