The registry only stores the fact that the Region FX are present, not the order in which they appear.

What else have you tried? I am assuming you have uninstalled and reinstalled your audio interface drivers (also checking the manufacturer's website for any updates). Also, you might want to put your PC specs in your signature.... Note, I am not experiencing any severe glitching and drop-outs (PC configured as per signature).

In Preferences - File - VST Settings, perform a RESET then SCAN. Note: If you have any plugins set to use JBridge, then these will also have to be reset (back to using JBridge).

I loaded your screenshot in a graphics editor and the + is present, but it is very faint. Which theme are you using?
-
1. Can we have screenshot? In the Articulation Maps Editor, I have always seen the + to the right of the delete icon. Are you sue you’re in the “Articulation Maps Editor” screen and not the “Choose Articulation” screen? 2. Preferences - File - Advanced (Advanced) > deselect “Allow Only One Open Project at a Time” 3. What have you tried so far. What are your project specs (Driver mode, sample rate, bit depth, buffer size. Latest drivers?)

I also tried it with UVI Falcon with Gospel Musicians TGX99. I MIDI learned CC91 to reverb mix using a MIDI controller. (as per your first screenshot) MIDI controller moves the reverb mix knob on the TGX99. The reverb Knob on the MIDI track inspector also moved the reverb mix knob on the TGX99. This is with Cakewalk 2025.02 (Build 049)

The “Quantise” Window appears instantly here. I tried this with another synth that responds to CC91 and CC93. It responds correctly when I adjust the Chorus and Reverb knobs in a MIDI track routed to that synth. I tried this with “ShowMIDI” and UVI workstation.

Break the stubborn love of control data and smart tools
Promidi replied to Woonyoung PArk's topic in Feedback Loop
I think he means that, when the Smart Tool is selected and you move the mouse pointer to a single controller event, the mouse wants to edit that single controller event. What he is asking for is a key modifier that prevents the mouse pointer attaching to a single controller event, but to go to a draw function instead. When he goes to the Draw Tool, he has to deselect Snap (or press N) Personally I just leave “snap to grid” off I have mapped "S" to the Smart Tool and "D" to the Draw. Being next to each other means these keys are near the left hand and I can do a quick toggle between Smart Tool and Draw and back. -
Bug Report: VST3 UVI Workstation UI Issue in Sonar
Promidi replied to MIDInco's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Is this a laptop or a desktop/tower PC? If this is a desktop, and I was having this issue, then I would at least consider testing a different graphics card - maybe a version without the M suffix. I do not actually think this is a Cakewalk issue. -
Personally, I would edit the MU90r ins file and remove the patches and drum kits that the MU80 does not have. Of course, having the patch list from both will help. https://usa.yamaha.com/support/manuals/index.html?l=en&c=music_production&k=mu90r https://usa.yamaha.com/support/manuals/index.html?l=en&c=music_production&k=mu80

Bug Report: VST3 UVI Workstation UI Issue in Sonar
Promidi replied to MIDInco's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Can it be assumed you are using: · The latest version of UVI Workstation (Which, at the time of this reply, is 3.1.15) · The latest drivers for your Radeon 780M https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html -
SysEx Midi dump from Edirol Sc VL 88 and MidiVerb 4
Promidi replied to Pathfinder's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Hey, I am with about the old gear thing. I still, to this day, still a (circa 1999) Yamaha SW1000XG card in another PC (for current paying projects). This has pretty much made me immune to the loss of TTS-1 fiasco Roland created. -
CBB Activation forcing me to connect to Facebook
Promidi replied to James Cartwright's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
As a test, I signed out of BL and then signed in. The sign in page still asked for my Bandlab credentials as it normally does. This only difference this time is a 2FA challenge (which I am OK with). I proceeded and I was back in. -
SysEx Midi dump from Edirol Sc VL 88 and MidiVerb 4
Promidi replied to Pathfinder's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Cakewalk should be able to accept MIDI dumps. Just make sure that “System Exclusive” is selected in Preferences - MIDI - Playback and Recording For for details, see: http://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=CakewalkSonar&language=3&help=SYSX.06.html#1113268 -
Even with Freebies, one has to decide if you really need it. In my case, my final decision to pass on the UAD 1176 freebie hinged on the fact that I have IK Multimedia’s Black 76 (part of Tracks 5) and Arturia’s Comp FET-76 (Both emulations of the The 1176 compressor).

I have done a similar thing with the Native Instruments daemon service. Normally I set the service to Manual and stopped. I have made an Autohotkey script that open starts the daemon service and then runs Native access. It sets the daemon service to stopped when I exit Native access. The script also resets to state to manual if an update to Native access resets the service back to automatic.

move Feature Suggestion: "Move clip in track"
Promidi replied to Mauro Gaspa's topic in Feedback Loop
I do not think you will get any easier than SHIFT drag vertically for a move or CTRL + SHIFT drag vertically for a copy. -
This is one thing I would like inverted. Holding CTRL should activate "automatic placement slots"

Based on the demo that you can download, there is one issue that would be a showstopper for me. Even though the articulation maps are triggered using Note Events, the Chase Mode is set to CCs (which is the default when creating one). These articulation maps will not chase unless you set the articulation map’s Chase Mode to either Note or Full (which is what I would have used). Unless one knows how to bulk edit 12000 artmap text files, changing “160000 articulations” would be a very long job. Also, it would be handy to be able to purchase just the maps you actually need. Note: Chase mode means that if you start playback under an articulation map, Cakewalk/Sonar searches back for, and sends, that articulation map Event so that the correct articulation is applied before notes start playing.

If you do the following: · In Cakewalk, create a MIDI track, enable its input echo and set its MIDI channel to 1 · Route that MIDI track to the M50 · Put some notes in the MIDI track via PRV. · Playback those notes Do you get any sound from the M50? If you do the following: · In Cakewalk, create a MIDI track, enable its input echo · Set that MIDI track’s input to the M50 , Omni. · Set that MIDI track’s output to the M50 · Play some keys on the M50 Does the MIDI Meter show activity and do you get sound from the M50?
-
And when you record into the SIT track, you get no MIDI events therein, is that correct. Also, if the sound is coming from the m50, and you want that going to Cakewalk, you would have to connect an audio cable from the M50 to an audio input of your Focusrite. Then create an Audio track, into which you can record to. On the M50 editor screen in (Cakewalk), what do you see if you click “Global” (or even “Utility”). Any where to select MIDI ports?
-
On the M50 Editor MIDI track, can you expand the input (where is says “OMNI”). Personally, I would set this specifically to the M50 1 Keyboard Are you absolutely sure that the actual sound is coming from the VST itself, not the M50 itself.
