  1. Having trouble being able to reproduce this. What is the display resolution you're using? Are you using a workspace or anything like that? Multiple monitors?
  2. Data is data as far as the drive is concerned, so no issues with those files, just a matter of how you prefer organizing.
  3. Command Center and old products are still shown on legacy.cakewalk.com, which is where you would have been to see those pages. The current product information is available at www.cakewalk.com. Unfortunately Z3TA+2 is not available right now unless you had previously purchased a license in 2017 or earlier.
  4. I am unable to reproduce this. Are you using a specific preset for the export?
  5. You can manually resize the window in any case to access the Preferences for Bias FX 2. I would contact them as well for support though since this was working in their previous release.
  6. If you close and reopen the plugin window as a whole, it should resize to show everything.
  7. Definitely related to their most recent update on it, because I couldn't repro until I updated Bias FX 2. Looks like the workaround is simply to just close and reopen the plugin window. It only gets the size wrong on the first open of the UI, and that's assuming you're scaling it in the Preferences in Bias.
  8. Which build are you currently running? It seems to be working fine on my end in the latest Sonar release (2024.09 build 105).
  9. I'm not seeing this issue on our end. If you're seeing a crash, please try and capture a dump file to send us:
  10. It does this automatically if no other MIDI ports are present.
  11. This is not accurate. The MS Wavetable synth is an external Windows component. When it's available for Sonar to use, it's visible as a port to enable. Typically you need to be in the MME driver mode to make that work (although using that in general is not recommended).
  12. Current Cakewalk by BandLab installs do not include TTS-1 either. You would need to use a legacy installer, or previous SONAR version to install it.
  13. Have you ruled out that it's not something with the audio driver? The original note here was for a very specific situation, however, if there's an issue with being unable to open the audio driver, that will also cause the app to not open after the splash screen.
  14. It's definitely not recommended to resave over the existing factory Workspaces as those can be overwritten as described.
  15. Do you have the docked control bar saved as a workspace? I'm not able to reproduce any change to the current workspace setting on updating.
  16. SONAR 8.5 was never available as a full download install. As mentioned there was an upgrade installer to take version 8.0 to 8.5, but the application as a whole was never available as a direct download. I'd suggest contacting support at help.cakewalk.com.
  17. You definitely want to use the Command Center installer version of Dimension Pro. That will install the latest version. As @mettelus mentioned, you might want to go the clean install route to remove the previous version and then load it clean directly to v1.5.
  18. The serial number and registration code will work on a new system. Bear in mind X3 predates Windows 11, so its not supported there.
  19. Sounds like you have the Scrub tool on. The "j" key is the shortcut for this.
  20. Easiest way to do this is just putting a volume envelope on the metronome bus (as set up in stock project templates).
  21. You can use the updated version of Command Center to reinstall SONAR Platinum with all of its related content (some of the additional plugin installers will require to see SONAR installed). After that re-run the Cakewalk by BandLab installer to make sure your shared components are up to date, and you'll have everything.
  22. Sometimes some MIDI data can cause certain synths to stop working. One thing you could do is open the Event List and remove the non-note entries prior to trying to play the project, then see if it works correctly. Aside from removing that MIDI data beforehand, another thing that could fix these kinds of problems would be to tell the synths not to intercept that data. You can do that in the plugin manger: A test for this could also be using TTS-1 or a similar GM player to see if that's outputting audio from that same MIDI data.

It's definitely a driver/audio device issue. It's likely something with the configuration for the Audient where you can assign things to the different driver inputs. If they have a mixer control panel, the solution is likely there.
  24. There's a pin button in the plugin toolbar you can click that will keep them visible when opening another plugin. Holding CTRL while clicking to open the plugin also overrides the current setting for Recycle Plug-In Windows, which basically will just apply the pin automatically when opening the plugin UI.
  25. Gobbler is no more. They switched from being a project backup service to a plugin marketplace a while before that.
