Magix have to be the most garbage p o s software company in existance, their software hasn't worked properly ever, full of bugs, not coded properly, spelling mistakes in the graphics of the software, drivers don't work properly. the sooner they go bust the better. There is a reason they are trying to give their software away in bundles. because it's rubbish. rant over, even the most basic one soundforge, has a massive glitch on it using export. they're a disgrace and should be hiding somewhere in embarrasment instead of collecting peoples money.

Nice transient designer, very versatile, bit different to transgressor, but not much, worth having imo, got a free synth with, which swung the deal, GForce Axcess, which is an excellent sounding little softsynth, Recommend.

tbh, it's actually known to be quite unstable, you might be better off with another solution if you are going to be using in a live situation.

just open any DAW and under midi preferences you will have the option to choose microsoft GM wavetable synth, the default is a piano sound. then play your midi keyboard.

if you are going to add tape hiss make sure the hiss the the very last thing on the master bus, like as if you were recording to tape, if you are using any compressors or limiters after tape hiss it will amplify the hiss, a tape machine was always very last thing in the chain of recording.

Yes, some older machines are not compatible with win 11, if you never have it online and don't plan on upgrading software just keep using it as a music computer. I have an old computer with XP that runs some very old software perfectly well, however it will not connect to the internet, almost impossible to use internet on it. as long as the operating system operates the computer and programmes is all that matters. Win 10 machine will be fine with a 3rd party virus software to use internet for a good few years yet, if you need to occasionally get on the net with it.

you don't need to "WUP" use one of the old installers for the version you already have. It will be the exact same plug in.
