  1. I would vote for the Roland A300 PRO, just for the full sized keys (32)... If you plan on setting up a controller for Cakewalk, the A-PRO is probably your easiest route. The keyboard was designed back when Roland originally owned Cakewalk, and the control surface maps for Sonar should still be good, via the Roland A-PRO series control surface plugin for Sonar. Don't forget to download both the driver and the plugin from Roland. https://www.roland.com/us/products/a-300pro/downloads/ And it wouldn't hurt to read the manual. First time setup can be a bit fiddly. https://www.roland.com/us/products/a-300pro/support/ The sliders and knobs are good, but the pads are rather small. So you may need to consider an additional pad controller if that feature is a priority for you. For any other brand of keyboard, forum members have reported varying degrees of success with Cakewalk. None are 100% ready for plug and play out of the box as control surfaces. Suggest searching the forums for past threads with knowledge about making a specific model work with Cakewalk. Bottom line is that any generic MIDI keyboard will send MIDI notes to Cakewalk, and most virtual instruments will respond to generic MIDI CC commands sent by the knobs and sliders. But getting the DAW control surface setup requires some digging and patience.
  2. The engineers must all be trying to clear out of the office before the holiday weekend! A last minute rush to package and deliver final updates for 2021... ?
  3. Ozone 9 Advanced updated today to 9.11.1. Run Product Portal.
  4. No pok! Then calls the pigs, LOL!?
  5. I would just contact Arturia support. Most likely a glitch and they will probably straighten it out. I own Pigments and V Collection 8. But honestly, since there is no way to demo these new banks yet, I'm not buying any pig(ments) in a poke!
  6. @Jim FogleJust be aware that Presence XT is tied to Studio One, as it's not a VST that can be used in another DAW. If you go the Presence XT guitar route, the included 'Full' preset variations contain articulations that can be keyswitched. But it's still basically a sampler with guitar samples, and without any virtual guitarist features, like a strummer, chord voicing, etc. Acoustics: Open, Hammer-on, Mutes, Deads, Harmonics, PlayFX. Electrics: Open, Legato, Mutes, Deads, Harmonics, Slides, PlayFX. It's a no brainer to check this out if you already have Studio One Pro, but if you are going to invest extra just for this guitar package, you may want to seriously consider other 3rd party guitar libraries, such as Native Instruments Kontakt Player libraries, or the Ujam virtual guitarists. Orange Tree Samples makes some great guitars that are also compatible with the free Kontakt Player.
  7. You typically download Arturia sound packs via the store in Analog Lab or the instrument itself. Arturia Software Manager only installs software and plugins.
  8. Not that it really matters. Many deal forum users have moved on. Regardless, Cakewalk by Bandlab is still the best free DAW, and probably still holds up well to the paid DAWs, and used to sell for hundreds of dollars.
  9. You can try Sine for free. In fact, it has a few advantages over the Spitfire player, as you can load up multiple instruments and/or articulations in a single instance, and assign MIDI channels to each. Orchestral Tools has a free service that you can subscribe to that provides free libraries, similar to the Spitfire LABS series, called SINEfactory. There are currently 8 free libraries for that. https://www.orchestraltools.com/store/get-sine In addition, they offer a free orchestral library called "Layers". With woodwinds, brass, strings, and full orchestra presets. It is a sample of the possibilities, but very basic. https://www.orchestraltools.com/store/collections/45
  10. Well if you just want to purge the installation files from the staging area, and not actually uninstall the plugin. The Aquarius app apparently doesn't drop the installers in the normal downloads area on your machine, at least on Windows, it does not.
  11. Don't forget to "purge" the Acustica "Aquarius" installers following successful plugin installations. I recovered 3.5GB of my SSD drive space that was being used for this purpose. In Aquarius settings, Installation tab, Stage area path, "Purge" button...
  12. While Pigments has never been a genre specific synth, the more I think about it, these 3 free banks for first time customers appear to be targeted at a more genre specific user. The 3 new banks are specifically: Bass, EDM, and Trap. Not judging, just saying... ?
  13. But if you do that, won't you forget that you already bought some stuff that you might pay for again in the next sale? ?
  14. I looked in both places as well. They don't show up as individual banks in either store to demo. I would be hesitant to buy any soundbanks without at least a listen to a few patches... ? Fyi, while looking, I did run across a free bank for the Buchla synth that I never noticed before!
  15. Ah! I see! I binned all the old ones from before the X-series, except for Sonar 8. which I kept for nostalgia for the pre-Skylight GUI. And if I ever had reason to install one of the old versions. Still have some old disks, LOL! I got Sonar X3 Power on E-book. Takes up very little disk space!
  16. I think 5.4.5 is the latest AL V. I finally got Mello Fi. The download took a while to show up in ASC, even after it showed as registered in my account.
  17. Time to break out Waves OVox! ?
  18. Why? At least the Sonar X series is still relevant to Cakewalk as far as the original feature set goes. Did you totally abandon Cakewalk?
  19. Not seeing it. What version did you update to? I'm on Analog Lab V 5.4.5.1834.
  20. All Pigments upgrades have been free to existing owners. The upgrade will appear in your Arturia Software Center. The Triad deal should appear in "My account" on the website.
  21. Downloads >>> https://www.arturia.com/products/analog-classics/energy-triad-bundle/resources
  22. Energy Triad Bundle is $29.99 for existing Pigments owners. Look for crossgrade deals in "My account" online. Bundle included free with first time purchase of Pigments.
