    Waves free plugin

Well whatever, it's free! No risk!
  2. Just updated them here! Not just for M1. The plug-in resizing does work in Windows, but is a bit hard to locate. It's found in the "Zoom" level which is accessed via the options menu when you click in the preset window. Thanks Surreal!

    XLN Audio XO

    $29 and it's all mine!
  4. AK has a lot of great editing options, and the Studio Grand that I have sounds good, but I wish they would include a live keyboard performance view. Most other virtual keyboard instruments seem to have that feature. For a good example, look at the Arturia Piano V.
  5. That is a good suggestion. I always ran into issues using ST4 as a "multi" instrument. The load went up drastically. ST3 is definitely lighter. Just be aware that many of the instruments in ST4 are newly sampled, and not available in ST3. I have ST4 MAX, and the ST4 exclusives as represented in the IK sound list documentation are the majority of the new ST4 library. In this case, I only load 1 or 2 instruments into an instance of ST4. Each instance of ST4 should get it's own core on your CPU (obviously DAW dependent case here).
  6. If I didn't already have a Scarlett 2i2 USB, I'd probably go for the GO. The specs look good.
  7. AD2 and AK are in maintenance mode. Keep buying Tootrack until Max Martin needs more money...
  8. That's a great idea, but some folks interested in a portable interface may already own a full fledged DAW, and may not actually need or want Studio One Artist. It looks perfect for a home recording/laptop studio.
  9. I had a Korg X2 workstation 25 years ago. Loved that little floppy drive! Before I had a DAW, I used to download MIDI files from the net, and used that floppy to load them into the sequencer. SysEx sounds like the correct answer here, although I never tried to change modes that way. I'm a button pusher! I did wrangle some SysEx eventually but it was usually simple stuff like loading and saving banks. But that was many years ago for me!
  10. Under the "Advanced" button you can set a keyboard split for the B3 upper and lower manuals from your controller at a note like C3, or your choice. Or you can use two keyboard controllers sending notes on MIDI ch 1 and ch 2 for upper and lower, respectively. These settings are in the "gear" options menu. If you have actual MIDI pedals, you can send them in on MIDI ch 3.
  11. Me too! Starbucks French Roast! Home brewed...
  12. Much better option for home recording than ASIO4all and an onboard Realtek chip. * Instrument in and Mic/Line in combo connector, with Mic pre-amp and phantom power to XLR, and balanced 1/4" L/R outputs for studio monitors. Plus headphone amp with 1/4" TRS stereo headphone output.
  13. I believe it was mentioned that Prime is limited to the PreSonus Studio Magic suite plugins.
  14. I'll say it again, this statement is misinformed or irrelevant as to the actual nature of Java on a system.
  15. Looks gewd!!! https://www.presonus.com/products/AudioBox-Go Perfect deal for anyone wanting to get a real audio interface for $79.99, and includes the PreSonus Studio Magic suite, and a version of Studio One Prime that's tweaked to allow these plugins to run with it. AudioBox Go is a qualifying interface: https://www.presonus.com/products/Studio-Magic
  16. I do understand the Re-Compose predicament, but the handoff for existing users of Liquid Notes to W.A. was rather a fumble...
  17. Josh made 2 posts at the forums and never came back... He needs to man up, like IK Peter!
  18. Yep. The message you got about "buffer size 441" means exactly that. Change your buffer size to 512 or something like that, which is a multiple of 8. Your sampling rate is fine. I switched my buffer size to 441, and got exactly the same message from MNDALA as you. I always use a multiple of 8, such as 128, 256, 512, etc. I tested WASAPI shared in CbB, and discovered that the buffer size is locked to the sample rate. The closest that I could come is to use a sample rate of 48,000, which automatically gave me a buffer size of 480. That worked! Must be a Windows thing. I normally use ASIO (with my Focusrite USB), so never noticed this before. ASIO lets me adjust them independently.
  19. I believe that you have confused Java virtual machine with the old Java browser plugin for web (which has been deprecated). Or Javascript, which has really nothing at all to do with Java, except an unfortunate name. The Java browser plugin was a lousy idea, a security risk, and it's use has mostly been eliminated. The Java browser plug-in was designed to allow the JVM to execute so-called Java applets embedded into HTML pages. However, locally installed Java based music applications do not run in your browser. They just require a local Java virtual machine to execute them. The advantage to Java, is that it's write once, run anywhere (that has a platform supported JVM installed). As opposed to other application programs that must be compiled for each target platform. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_virtual_machine "A Java virtual machine (JVM) is a virtual machine that enables a computer to run Java programs as well as programs written in other languages that are also compiled to Java bytecode. The JVM is detailed by a specification that formally describes what is required in a JVM implementation. Having a specification ensures interoperability of Java programs across different implementations so that program authors using the Java Development Kit (JDK) need not worry about idiosyncrasies of the underlying hardware platform." A side note here is that native Android apps are written in Java, and is a requirement for the Android development kit. There is no reason to fear or avoid Java, except maybe you prefer not to have extra stuff installed on your computer.
  20. Even easier than tweaking the sounds in this app was to use the Liquid Rhythm plugin in Cakewalk (or almost any DAW) to sync the transport to the Liquid Rhythm standalone app. You could then mute the sound generation in Liquid Rhythm and use your Addictive Drums kit in Cakewalk, or whatever drum sampler you choose, to play back the LR patterns in the DAW.
  21. That link is for the unsupported legacy version that I already own, 1.4.5. The upgrade from Liquid Rhythm to the Liquid Music bundle is $99 (includes Liquid Rhythm 1.7.0), which is what always stopped me. I bought Liquid Rhythm 5 years ago. This $70 deal for the bundle is probably the best offer that I have seen. Please see their note to customers in prior post above. WaveDNA no longer plans to sell the updated Liquid Rhythm as a separate product. Bundled with Liquid Music only. However the inventor of the WaveDNA technology, David Beckford, unfortunately passed away about 2 years ago. https://www.wavedna.com/david-joseph-beckford-co-founder-of-wavedna/ I think that it was a very innovative idea, as there are not many other options for pure algorithmic MIDI rhythm generators out there, that can drive your drum kits. Melda MDrummer appears to be the closest substitute that I can locate.
