  1. You can slap it onto any audio source you like. But if you mean "Does it sound good with guitars?", they have a free trial version that you can use to test if you like how it sounds. You find it at the WA Production website: https://www.waproduction.com/plugins/view/dodge-pro It's fairly intuitive. One thing you have to know though is that you won't hear any difference until the DAW's play button is pressed.
  2. Do they often have such discounts or is it rare for that company?
  3. I don't care if it's good and how it sounds. With that design I will never let it come near my DAW ?
  4. I think the loyalty vouchers for this month have already expired. I don't know if it's the same for the 50$ and 75$ vouchers as for the 25$ voucher, though. But for the 25$ loyalty voucher I got an email, telling me that it will expire after the 14th of June. Update: I just got a new 25$ loyalty voucher. I hope this will be the new norm, getting two 25$ vouchers per month.
  5. I second this. I personally currently have no use for those coupons, but I find it great and generous that people are sharing their codes.
  6. Losing my valuable software due to online authorization no longer working? New fear unlocked ? KV331 uses license key files for Synthmaster. Very good synth, by the way, in my opinion. SampleScience has no authorization at all, same for New Nation and Digikitz
  7. @PavlovsCat same here. I have the Rigid Audio Everything Bundle but don't really have a use for most of the sounds. I think their main focus are ambient sounds, drones, soundscapes and some experimental things. There are certainly people who are looking for exactly that but the majority of people who make music will want more ordinary instruments, I believe.
  8. Yes, but they pay the fee beforehand, buying an allotment of licenses that they can sell. If they don't find enough people who are ready to pay 40$ for it, then they will have to make a decision after having reached a certain saturation: Either sit on the costs and sell no further licenses or sell the remaining licenses for less than what they had hoped people would pay. And that's the big question: Will there be enough people who would want to pay that much for it?
  9. I'd never buy any of their products for 40$ though, Player or not.
  10. Knowing their newsletter 24 hour flash sales I expect it to be available 90% off sooner or later.
  11. Do you mean you regret buying it or are you just surprised to discover that you have it and don't remember buying it?
  12. When something is more than 90% off it's almost always the case that the "regular" price is really just an inflated price that nobody ever pays. Apart from that, I am really disappointed with the Rigid Audio Everything Bundle. I bought it even cheaper on KnobCloud just to realize that I have no use for most of those instruments. Plenty of experimental sounds inside that leave me wondering how one could possibly use them to create music with.
  13. In my opinion this is the best list for free audio software: https://www.kvraudio.com/plugins/best-free-plugins Categorized, with ratings, and contains a ton of free software
  14. Oh, I see. Yes, you can route it to another instrument, of course. In contrast to the many GB of sampled instruments that I already have the 1GB for Scaler 2 never seemed like a big issue to me. But then again if you're already running out of hard disk space it might become a problem.
  15. what do you mean by that, "a version without samples"?
  16. You might get it even cheaper by subscribing to the Rigid Audio newsletter. There's no guarantee that they'll do it again but they once had a 24 hour flash sale where they sold it for 3.71€.
  17. You can get some free 8Dio instruments if you become part of their demo team. From their newsletter:
  18. Thanks. A 15 minute video seemed a little too long for me just to check what's new, but I now took the time to at least have a look at the "what's new" section. I guess this one isn't for me, since it's intended for mixing and mastering pros. I liked the older versions because they keep things very simple and the results are goog enough for me.
  19. What's new in this version? Is it really worth the money to upgrade from bx_masterdesk true peak?
  20. Don't get me wrong, I love Ujam too. I have Beatmaker Vice, Virtual Guitarist Sparkle 1 and Iron 1, Virtual Bassist Rowdy 2, Virtual Drummer Phat 2. I love all of them. But Usynth? I just don't dig it.
  21. Is there anyone who likes Usynth? I just can't get warm with it.
  22. Rigid Audio has good deals from time to time. You can profit from their 24 hours flash sales where they sell single products rediculously cheap for a day if you subscribe to their newsletter. Or if you're lucky they might sell their everything bundle for $49 again, like they did in February. It contains 32 Kontakt libraries of all kinds. You can check it out here: https://www.rigid-audio.com/products_everything_bundle.html
