  1. Do people who own a lot of Waves plugins like to use the StudioVerse effect chains for StudioRack? Like, do you think that they're good and useful? Time-savers? And: Does it really use up 16GB disk space when you install all the plugins inside of the Horizon bundle? Like, what is using so much space? It's mostly just effects, not huge sample libraries.
  2. I feel that way with Oblivion Sound Labs. In fact, it's more like close to 100%. Even their free soundbanks are amazing. They really shouldn't be free. Diva owners have to check out their free soundbanks: https://oblivionsoundlab.com/product/radio-waves/ https://oblivionsoundlab.com/product/diva-oblivion/
  3. I like how they probably have chosen Alicia Keys just so they could make that pun and name it Alicia's Keys.
  4. Nice. Could it be a price error? I've read that it's very good. Has anyone here got it yet?
  5. https://www.waproduction.com/bundles/view/2024-valentines-bundle For € 18,67 + Vat you get: Their Obsidian plugin 8 sample packs: Future Bounce Flair Fierce Future Garage Vocals Kinetic K-Pop Chill House Reflection Future Rave Phenom 80s Retro Revival Lucid Electro Pop Ferocious Future House Plus you get 0.5 chips (when you have 1 chips you can exchange that for coupons or virtual cache) And you can get Ultimate FX Bundle 3 free with every order. 6. And also available at WA Production: https://www.waproduction.com/plugins/view/mcenter And free with any purchase at Loot Audio: https://www.lootaudio.com/checkout/?type=basket
  7. The funny thing is, that the regular price now is twice as much as it used to be, so that with the voucher you now pay the same as you would have done before.
  8. I think they've only established this system recently. It's unusual for a website to force users to renew their password every few months, but they're not the only ones to do that and it's not necessarily a sign that they've been hacked. For a while it was recommended security practice to have an expiration policy for passwords. It's strange that your old password wasn't accepted when trying to change the password. Mine was accepted.
  9. You enter your current password and chose a new one below. The platform still knows your current password, it just forces you to change it, for security reasons.
  10. Yep. I bought it for €8.28. And currently it's still only €11.93 (with tax included - so might be a different price for others) at Glitchedtones: https://glitchedtones.com/products/limited-store-exclusive-elite-beatmaker-collection-save-840-51 Also sometimes you get their Ultimate Producer Bundle + the SFX & Atmospheres Bundle free with any purchase. It's worth subscribing to their newsletter.
  11. I already have the Renaissance Maxx bundle though. And a few other plugins from Platinum. Upgrade to Platinum would be $59.99 for me. I'm undecided. But I think I'll pass.
  12. Those plugins are ancient though, aren't they? They look like Windows 95 aesthetics.
  13. Yes, I had that too
  14. Iris 2 is a whole different thing to me. It's a soft synth and quite a unique synth where you can shape the sound by painting on a sample's spectrum to mask frequencies. You can use it with your own samples too, if you like. Octane on the other hand is not a synth but just a plain rompler. You don't have a lot of options regarding sound design. Just a ton of presets.
  15. I know this thread is old but I just recently got ads for Octane on Instagram too and so I had a look at it. Currently $20 for Octane Complete, which is Octane plus all the soundbanks that they have for it, giving you 2000+ instruments. It seems they now only sell that version. As mentioned in the original post, there also used to be Octane for $10 without all the additional soundbanks, with way less instruments and if you wanted more, you'd have to buy the soundbanks from within the plugin's store. I bought Octane Complete and here's my experience so far: I find many of the instruments sound great. And you really get a ton of sounds. BUT: It crashes sometimes. So yeah, that's a bit of a showstopper. I haven't managed to figure out yet when and why it crashes. I hope that maybe, if I just avoid certain presets, it might not happen anymore. So, all in all, I have mixed feelings. Would be a great deal if it didn't crash from time to time, but it does, so ... not a great deal, but not too shabby either.
  16. 20% of 50 amps is still 10 amps. 10 amps for $9.99. With most developers you can hardly get a single amp for that price. Looks like a good deal to me.
  17. GAS says yes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. Yes, but if you got ReAmp 1 (which was super cheap - I paid 9.25€) and buy the upgrade to ReAmp 2 for $9.99, you get 51 amps, 10 pedals and 14 cabs for an amazing price. If you bought them individually you'd pay much more.
  19. Ah. That's why it's free.
  20. Never heard of it but I love me some free amps. Does anyone know it? Is it good? Why is it free now?
  21. By default my soundpool settings were set to .ogg. I now changed it to .wav to get better quality files but it didn't download the .wav files. Does anyone know how to force it to redownload the soundpools after the settings were changed?
  22. I have a colleague who uses Reaper. Because it's cheap. And then spends hundreds of dollars on Scripts by nvk, because without those scripts it's not as powerful as he would like it to be. For that money he could have bought Ableton Live in the first place. ?
  23. Oh. How did I miss that?! Yes, the code works here too.
