I just installed the demo. What is strange is that the installer says I have 29 trial days remaining, but inside my DAW the plugin tells me that I only have 7 days left However, I gave it a try and figured out that to play it like a real guitar you have to use instrument, trigger mode off, hold one of the white notes between C3 and F5 to pick a chord and then simultaneously press the white notes from C2 to A2 to play individual notes, or H2 to strum the whole chord. It's how a guitarist would play the guitar. The notes from C3 to F5 represent the left hand that frets the strings and the notes from C2 to H2 represent the right hand that holds the pick. tip: click on the little keyboard icon with a question mark on the right to see the help menu for the key layout:

Not even if you switch from chord mode to note mode? I would have expected that that's exactly what note mode is there for.

Multicore mode reduced my CPU peak from 28% to 18% when playing a chord with 6 notes using the rainforest preset. When I just hit one key activating multicore goes down from 18% to 11%.

As has been mentioned before, a lot of the free soundbanks on the website are for their hardware synths. These don't show up in Analog Lab because they can't be used with Analog Lab.
-
Are you sure it's MicroFreak, not MiniFreak you mean?
-
They're hardware synths. Not part of Analog Lab, that's why they don't show up in Analog Lab.

Feels like yesterday that they launched Pigments 4

Like Husky, I don't see any new free soundbanks for Analog Lab or Pigments either. Yes, there are a lot of free soundbanks, but they didn't come all suddenly. They have accumulated over the years. I don't know about Analog Lab Play, but the soundstore inside Analog Lab has been there for ages too, with the filter to show only free soundbanks. So, I really don't understand why Arturia would send a newsletter like this was anything new. I didn't get that newsletter myself. As Husky mentioned, a lot of the free soundbanks that you see on https://www.arturia.com/sounds are for Polybrute or Microfreak.

New Nation staying true to their unprofessional image. The confirmation page tells you to register at https://newnationllc.com. But that domain doesn't work. Should probably have been https://nnaud.io. Then when you go to https://nnaud.io/plugins/evanescent-baby-grand-piano/ to add the plugin to your cart, it takes AGES to load. How do they even manage to survive in the business?

IK The final Krazy Deal of the year starts now!

Is it about the subjective value of plugins? -
I believe it's the same as the one you can get for free from this page: https://yurtrock.com/pages/yurt-rock-demo

Apparently they're working on a preset browser. I got this email in April this year when I asked if there's a chance of having an improved preset browser in the future: It's also a very requested feature on their KVR Forum, so I trust they'll give it a high priority. I love how the design/user interface doesn't feel outdated at all. Timeless synth. Highly recommended preset bundle for Sylenth1: Sylenth1 Bundle by Cartel Loops, currently only $9.95 at Producer Spot. It contains 17 soundbanks with a total of 826 presets. I've got it and I like quite a lot of the presets.

I got mine

Even uses the same product names. Their lack of imagination makes me not want to buy from them. That's not Cymatics vibe, that's Cymatics from Wish.
-
Now is a good time to buy soundbanks at the Patchbay https://thepatchbay.io/ Until the 7th of January they have lots of products on sale with up to 50% discount.

Rigid Audio Everything Bundle - Question, not a deal
audioschmaudio replied to husker's topic in Deals
I have the everything bundle and I regret buying it, even though I got it for only 34€. The thing is, none of it offers the type of sounds that I'd actually use. But that might depend on the genre you're doing. Me, I like synthwave, trap, pop, rock. The Rigid Audio instruments are mostly soundscapes or somewhat experimental. -
Would be a no-brainer for me, if I didn't already have the everything bundle. I believe there are currently 52 soundbanks in total. That's like half a dollar per soundbank. But I'm a preset guy and am not good at sound design. That's why I love to collect presets. I'm really surprised though that the release comes so soon. It feels like he went straight from Alpha to release, skipping the beta phase. I hope he didn't rush it just to release it on time for Christmas. Update: I guess I misunderstood the announcement. I guess it will be available for pre-order this month but the actual release date is around March.
