Don't dismiss APD's shop either. It sometimes has really good deals or special finds as long as you've got enough points to make use of them.

UVI Synth Anthology 4 is out - Discover your upgrade offer!
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I guess the bigger question is also that can you actually tweak the sounds to get outlandish and outrageous results or is it, just like you said, more of an inspiration machine than a stand-alone, fully fledged synth? Kinda like how some of those orchestral 'essential' packs are great for having a quick-go but if you really wanna play around, might need something a bit more elaborate.... Or maybe like Arturia's stand alone synths vs. Arturia's Analog Lab? -
UVI Synth Anthology 4 is out - Discover your upgrade offer!
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
So I'm fighting against buying this as I have Arturia's Collection and a bunch of other retro synths from various developers. I haven't really found an answer as to what the benefits of having this over other options might be? Other than maybe having a variety of retro sounds accessible quick within the same plugin? Ie. this seems more like "nice to have" rather than "mandatory"? -
Yeah. Already got that as I try to snatch Melda's procucts if they're on a bigger sale than 50% Then again. Do I really need more EQs? No? I might. Maybe? Yes? Yes. In all honesty, the only ones I'm salivating for are Kirchhoff-EQ, SplitEQ and/or maybe smarteq3...

Same. Is it possible to upgrade and has there ever been a sale on an upgrade from SF LE to SF?

Minipol $9 (normally $49.00) - https://karanyisounds.com/product/minipol/ Wavesynth Pro (includes expansions) - $19 (normally $119.90)- https://karanyisounds.com/product/wavesynth-pro/ Wavesynth is supposedly its lowest price yet (I paid 24.90 back in January). Some vouchers might be also available to snatch off a few bucks off (for example one can try 'next15' for 15% off. Your mileage may vary).

Toyed with the idea if I should replace my Waves' Pultec* MEQ-5/EQP-1A plugin with this, so I tried to get the price even lower. But in case anyone is wondering: No. Cannot be done. The 'sign up for newsletter + first buy = 30% off" does not stack if the item you want to use the voucher on is on sale. The voucher only affects the normal price, thus using it makes the thing cost more than it does on sale.
-
The rewards cannot be used with the active front page deals but instead, have to be used for the products in 'Shop' (should be available in the navigation). There, items should show a normal price and a base price. If an item has a price of 100 USD but its base price is 30 USD, you would need 70 points to get the deal. They might also have sales for items in the shop.

Yeah, it's a unique code from a PB email. I guess one might have been targeted for the email if they got the LITE for free from Plugin Boutique.

But, but.... but there hasn't been a new deal posted in like... 5 or 7 hours. Give me something. Give me anything!

Audio Plugin Deal's also has a few of them in their shop for less if you've got the proper space bucks: https://audioplugin.deals/?s=dark+intervals&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1 And despite the offer running out some time ago, I think you can still buy the 'Complete Bundle' for 69 USD: https://audioplugin.deals/product/the-everything-bundle-by-dark-intervals/

In case some are wondering, key provided is normal and not NFR.

APD Deal: Unique Audio Plugin by Have Audio - 73% Off
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
That's surprising considering this forum is a supermassive financial blackhole. -
How were you able to transfer the licence? To me they said I was SOL since I hadn't linked my Office key to a Microsoft account before installing Office (and that I'd be SOL in case I reinstalled Windows too).
-
Not interested in the plugins per se, but I do hate webshops where you need to click the item page open to see the actual price of items.

Got my refund today from Native for the cancelled Maschine order. I didn't send them any emails myself to initiate it. In Order History on Native's site, the order says 'Shipped'. Maybe they ought to add 'Cancelled & Refunded' as an option for their system.
-
Was around 200 euros w/ taxes.
-
Just got the email about my Maschine order: The order is still 'In Progress' in the account and no refund has been initiated that I can see.
-
Someone posted this in VI Control: Supposedly posted somewhere in Native's forums but couldn't find it myself with a quick glance. Found the source: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/comment/92184/#Comment_92184 So hardware buys : Nay Software buys: Yay Should have bit on that Jade Ethnic Orchestra thing

Nothing like that happening to me.

Adobe pulled a similar stunt some years ago with the old Adobe Creative Suite's authentication servers (CS2/3/4). They had a tiny time frame when you could contact them for a key + special installer for your paid software to keep using them (in case you lost your installation or whatever and had to reinstall). They didn't even advertise or send emails to their customers about it. If you missed the chance, you were -- and are -- crap out of luck. All the Adobe fan boys were like "Yeah, don't expect software to work forever." Hopefully the audio community is a bit more vocal about anti-consumer BS.
