I have to admit this gave me cold sweat. I bought Behringer TD-3 last year to play around during breaks at work. Bought some patch cables and the RD-6. Quite soon after, I got the idea that I needed midi keyboard as I came across emulated synths. Didn't take long to end up on this forum. Now I'm afraid to tell the missus about the funds in the long term saving account. I don't think I can sleep tonight.

At least for Windows, there's a separate Activation-program in the installation zip file that you can run to authorize/deauthorize. 3 activations available. If you can't access the system anymore, you're supposed to ask plugivery's customer support to do it (the activations show up in their portal.)

Anybody have any notes on the Plug & Mix PRO Series Bundle (Emax, OptoMax, Tube Exciter)? Mainly interested in the Emax EQ, since Plugin Alliance is leaving me out cold with its sales. Only thing I could find was a singular Youtube video and one review on KVR.

Thanks for the intel (be it yay or nay), all. Much obliged! Now guess I'll have to mull over it fast, though.

Haven't bought a single Waves product and seen a bunch of people get acid reflux when saying the name out loud. So, from what I gather, they've got decent/good products but lots of anti-consumer stances? The ones I know about have to do with one machine activation limit and that they tried to get rid of the perpetual licences? Any other reasons to skip, what seems like a pretty decent deal with the discount?

Mntra Introducing MIRAGE: Dhrupad Vocals + 1800s Church Bass for FREE
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I can understand and know from a different field, that development is not easy since there's various configurations, requirements, dependencies and future unkowns to take into account. I wasn't trying to single you out as your plugins for me have been quite straightforward/painless to use (especially since I think Arca was among the first few plugins I got after getting myself a midi keyboard.) I was simply being compassionate towards locrian's woes and part of it was due to having gone through some insane hoops as of late with other plugins. None the less. Since starting out last year and diving deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole of finding new sounds, the program list on my Windows has grown into the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey; not only is the list large and ominous, but if the missus would see how deep I've gotten myself into, I think she might start bashing things with a bone too. I've also had to clean up the Windows services a few times as I'm not a fan of things running when they're not in use or needed. With a lot of the software, the total process has also been anything but user friendly. From buying, downloading, installing, using and updating... Like that one free unspecified player from a big vendor (not named Kontakt) requiring pretty much three other software installs on top of it. Or backing up sounds from a different vendor who provides them only for a limited time, giving you two options: an unresponsive program that locks up easily if you queue too many downloads or a website where you have to race through a drop down list and a separate download button hundreds of times and then having to weed through duplicates, since the same files can be in various packages. Or multiple other pet peeves that I've discovered, gathered, cultivated, lamented and apparently grown to love since coming to this fun, creative outlet. But I digress. So thanks for making Mntra's stuff easier to use (going from the first to v2 was indeed an improvement in usability/stability for me) and Mntra hasn't given me any grey hairs yet. Which is why I've gotten most of the instruments since, like I said, I really dig the sounds they make... even if it all makes my wallet kind of sad. -
Worse version of the deal from few weeks ago, then.

Now only if they'd start throwing in those 20 bucks off vouchers, like they did in May.

Mntra Introducing MIRAGE: Dhrupad Vocals + 1800s Church Bass for FREE
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Works for me at the moment. However, I think I had to reinstall their whole player some time ago to get it to work properly. And as someone who is quite new to virtual instruments etc... all I can say is that everyone having their own player/downloader that requires you to install a ton of shit (including but not limited to all kinds of extra DRM software) is probably the biggest thing I loathe the most about this thing. Just bloat, bloat, bloat. Really dig Mntras' sounds though. -
Don't forget the same grift with Audible as shown in this documentary of sorts (although AI probably now makes this one cheaper too, since chatgpt wasn't on everyone's lips one year ago):

I've got a fever and the only cure is more cowb... EQ? If anyone has a a 75 voucher they might be able to part ways with, I wouldn't say no to one, so that I can stop visiting Plugin Alliance for remainder of the year.

I wish I understood how 8Dio's deal roulette works, since these were 20 buckaroonies maybe like a week ago.

Guess I missed out on the 'cannot be applied during this period' part. Thanks for the heads up.

Not that I was gonna buy anything, but did the generic monthly loyalty code stop working already for everyone?
-
Yeah. New URL is https://karanyi.gumroad.com/l/continuo1 Use code DVMPCKN

Says to me that "Coupon usage limit has been reached." Sad noises.

It's been on my radar for a bit, but if it's been at 29 or lower, I can keep on waiting. (Really. I can wait. No problem at all. I'll wait as long as I need to.)

Waves Starts Now ⚡️ Half Annual Sale that's the SAME as Every Other Sale
Kirean replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I've missed out on all the waves stuff. Do they have any great/outstanding/essential plugins (that might beat the competition or provide an excellent price/quality ratio)? -
But where's round 2 for a new personal July code?

Do note that the video is for Arturia's instrument and not AIR's.
