This was maybe the second theme I worked on, so it's not surprising it's missing a few tweaks. If only there were more hours in a day, and more days in a week.

I realize that for everyone the end goal would be different, but I'm very tempted to create a Mercury-Fixed and Tungsten-Fixed (King James Revised Standard) that incorporates all the tweaks and "corrections" that theme designers have introduced over the years, . I know I have some... and @Starship Krupa even more. How far is too far? Do you think we could agree on which to include, and what they should look like? I've uploaded a fresh export of the Young Lady's Illustrated Primer to Theming Cakewalk, refreshed for 2021.12 and also to address some inexplicable image distortions that found their way into the previous version. Sorry about that.

I see this too. Sometimes it's fast; sometimes it takes 10 seconds. I've reported it but it is one of those "not happening here" problems. Hard to reproduce on demand. Almost certainly it's something funky in the Windows File System API.

Damn, maybe this is why @vlefteris is complaining that my older, 2021.12-compliant themes are "out of date". If so, I apologize! I guess I will have to update them also as you've described, @Canopus.

I guess my post was ambiguous, sorry about that. I meant to inform that a) the theme hasn't changed, because b) it should work out-of-the-box with 2021.12.

I didn't update this theme. The current version should work fine with 2021.12. It does not customize the Folder Archive indicator button.

I updated the ZIP for 2021.12 UI change, even though I know there's another version out there also being updated. Neither of these are official from the original theme designer, we just like to keep a current copy around and available...

I've made the change already but I haven't published it yet. So, yes, as soon as the release drops, I'll update all my themes. Just in case there's a last minute ui change (unlikely, but stil...)

Altering the colors that affect the selected tab also affects the unselected tabs (but in the opposite polarity) so the basic answer to your question is "No, not really" although you have some minor ability to maximize the difference through careful color adjustment.

Hey, @Herbert Miron, are you officially taking over "ownership" of this theme? I took up the slack and modified it for, I think, 2021.06, but I'd be perfectly happy if someone else took over that responsibility going forward. Thanks!
