  4. John Vere is a nut. Now's he's telling bedtime stories ("Cakewalk Land") 🤣. Gotta love him
  5. Im still on CbB. If Cakewalk Sonar had a reasonable one time purchase option(which I could swear they were assuring us they would), Id buy it immediately. But the subscription thing is MASSIVE turnoff to me and I feel jerked around by all the inconsistent/indecisive messaging. I like the Cakewalk daw and Id like to stay loyal to the Cakewalk team but forcing a subscription has me making plans elsewhere.
  6. This guy makes some good videos about the recording of classic albums. Thought Id post a link for anyone who's not familiar with it... Cheers!
  7. John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, On the Dark Side (Words & Music Wordman)
  8. Cheers Mark. That's kinda my approach too. I find what I think are my 4 or 5 weakest fills and try to make them my strongest fills. Btw, after I commented above, I went listen to Lyle's version. I honestly prefer ur version. Lyle has a cool voice but on this song, I find he's too loose with the melodies and the song feels a bit too upbeat and over produced(IMO). Ur version feels more emotional, a little darker & more intense. And the sparse arrangement serves the 'man out in nature' type lyrics better too. I hope u post it again when ur done. I'm a fan 👍
  9. Debbie Boone, You Light Up My Life 🙉... 😜
  10. Jon Bon Jovi, Blaze of Glory I've always loved Jeff's solo on this. It's sometimes hard to know when he's playing slide here or when he's using the whammy cause Jeff can make a whammy bar sound a lot like a slide. Either way, it's a great solo.
  11. Somebody else better chime in cause my idiocy knows no bounds 😜
