Yes. I tried a micro PC a few years ago to record my music. It ran CbB and all my vsts fine but I returned it because it ran too dang hot. I decided to go with a humble tower pc and I'm glad I did. This fan is quiet and keeps the PC cool.

HUGE warning about CapCut's new terms of service!
T Boog replied to T Boog's topic in The Coffee House
It looks like this is becoming a sick new trend... -
I have this exact same problem (ever since I switched from CbB). I hope u get it worked out so I know how to fix it. I also have one more problem... The shortcut for gain adjustment(ctrl+ drag) only works the first time I try it, then it becomes unresponsive and says "- INF " . I have to first move the clip in somekind of way then it will let me adjust the clip gain again. I'm guessing this is unrelated to the audio glitching I just wanted to mention it in case u have the same issue with the clip gain shortcut.

I just stumbled onto an epiphany (for great piano sounds)
T Boog replied to T Boog's topic in Production Techniques
Cheers Mettelus. Well I'm familiar with playing layered sounds, like Piano combined with other instruments. I just never thought about blending two diff grand piano sounds together and separating the best parts of each. Man if u put a 32 band eq on each piano, u could get downright surgical ๐ Seriously, I was amazed by the power it gave me over the overall tone. And if I nudged the TTS1 to the left of the Hammersmith it had a diff sounding attack than vice versa(of course). And the phasing relationships when eqing them gives a lot of tone shaping control. I look forward to experimenting with this. -
I have a few great sounding (though free) piano vsts in my collection. However there's something I like in the tone of the TTS1 piano. It has a certain upper chime that works great in my mixes. However, there's something missing from it in the mids so it sounds a bit hollow and lacking in rich midrange. It lacks the thump & resonance of a great piano. So I decided today to try the Soniccouture Hammersmith piano on my track(which sounds very rich and resonant). I inserted the Hammersmith and placed it right under the TTS1 Piano track. Then I copied the MIDI notes to the Hammersmith track. I muted the TTS1 and just as I thought, the Hammersmith sounded rich & resonate but it didn't have that great upper chime of the TTS 1. But as I was going back and forth between the two pianos, I happened to try them both together and it immediately sounded amazing. But then, using my ear, I low passed and high passed the Hammersmith and I boosted it at 1K just a bit and it sounded outstanding. I also compessed it a good bit and set it lower in volume than the TTS1. And lastly, I nudged the midi notes on the Hammersmith forward a bit and it made it sound even thicker and richer. Now the piano sound has the best of both worlds. It has the rich low mids & mids of the Hammersmith and the upper chime of the TTS1. I also tried panning the two pianos slightly left & right but that made it sound worse. Besides, the pianos are already in stereo. And both pianos placed right up the middle sounds fantastic. It just sounds like one big resonant piano. Anyway, I'm sure some of u have tried this before but it never crossed my mind. I've doubled many things but never a piano. I'm still blown away by how great & easy it worked. It was actually hard to get a bad sound when blending them together. Anyway, I won't forget this trick ๐ Cheers!

HUGE warning about CapCut's new terms of service!

Well, u do make a good Devil's advocate ๐. But ur also open minded to hear counter arguments. I respect that about u Krupa. And yeah, I appreciate u letting ANYONE know about CapCut's new policy. That's all I'm trying to do is make people aware of what they're agreeing to before they sign it. And hopefully enough people will delete CapCut to force them to update their policy. (Though I'm not holding my breath) Btw, I wasn't aware of these terms and I did sign the new agreement. However, although I've edited using CapCut (they have great filters and a great slow motion map feature that works like Sonar's tempo map), I fortunately had yet to upload any of my original music to it. And now I've deleted it so I'm good. I'm just hoping the US govt does something to ban the owner of CapCut... ByteDance. Afterall, this is the same company who owns TikTok. So the US govt knows what theyre about. They are not shy about trying to acquire our rights and our personal data. And unfortunately most of us Americans do have our heads in the sand. We're like little naive sheep. One would hope our govt is trying to protect their unsuspecting citizens from outside forces. Cheers ๐ป -
HUGE warning about CapCut's new terms of service!

I'm sure there's many youtubers who do anything for clicks but that's not the case here. First, most of the people I've seen warning about this new Capcut agreement and deleting it are the same people with Capcut tutorial videos on their channels and others are reputable advice lawyers. Second, even crooked ***** Google admits the truth about how serious and extreme these new policies are. Third, it's common sense that they wouldn't start taking advantage of their new policies while it's still fresh and many people still haven't opened CapCap yet to agree to the new terms. (Of course, I'm sure they'll try to be selective and discreet about how they steal from their users the future) Honestly Krupa, it amazes me that ur so distrusting of the overwhelming consensus on this, esp when these ridiculous terms are out in the open for everyone to see and yet you're more than trusting about signing ur personal rights away to a foreign communist entity. There's no lawyer in the world that would let u sign something as ridiculous as that. Bottom line, this is one of those situations where people are rightfully sounding an alarm. After all, these terms are outrageous plus they last forever even if u delete ur account. (You're even signing away ur right to ever sue them). Why would anyone KNOWINGLY sign away all of their rights... let alone to a communist country who has a history of stealing our personal info? Where's ur head at Krupa? ๐คจ -
When using free tier Sonar offline, you have to click the free tier option then close out the "unable to sign in" pop up. Is this also for nag purposes or does the paid Sonar have this pop up too when used offline?
