Buy NOW, then pay every year after for updates!!!?!?!
-
Can't believe I waited year for a sale on this and I end up not buying it because I talk myself out of it for the real reason, I thought I'd get something like Pro-Q3 , but end up finding it's missing too many features for a perfect EQ alternative.

I guess I decided to get a SSD for my ipad, along with a USB-C powered hub for charging my ipad while my Focusrite is hooked up to it so that I can get 96khz. Focusrite works with iPad without any addition software! Plugin play. I also got the Sk Hynix Beetle x31 SSD drive for moving the projects from windows to ipad. I've bought Audio Evolution Mobile on iOS, because Cubasis doesn't have PDC! I will be buying Fabfilter for iOS soon... And then I'll mix / master on it. I'll create the music samples on desktop, then do all the mixing and mastering while laying down in my bed

LoL that question was posted long ago.. i bought the Shaperbox. Now I’m looking to grab FabFilter next sale date. -
I picked and waited for the sale of BBC Symphony Orchestra Core because Albion One is significantly older than the BBC Symphony Orchestra Core by around 8 years. Also, I wanted my instruments to sound more realistic. Here’s something to help you decide: Albion One vs. BBC Symphony Orchestra Core 1. Purpose and Design: - Albion One: - Designed as an all-in-one cinematic orchestral toolkit. - Focuses on providing a broad range of orchestral sounds, combining orchestral sections, loops, percussion, and hybrid elements. - Aimed at composers who need a quick, versatile solution for cinematic music, particularly in film, TV, and video game scoring. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Designed to offer a highly detailed and realistic orchestral experience. - Focuses on accurately capturing the sound of a full symphony orchestra, recorded at the famous Maida Vale Studios. - Aimed at composers and producers looking for authentic orchestral sounds, ideal for traditional orchestral scoring in a wide range of genres. 2. Sound Quality and Articulations: - Albion One: - Includes a broad range of articulations, but they are more general and aimed at versatility rather than deep detail. - Offers an ensemble-based approach, where sections like strings, brass, and woodwinds are recorded together, providing a lush, cinematic sound but with less control over individual instruments. - Incorporates both organic and hybrid sounds, with some synths and effects for modern cinematic scoring. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Provides a more detailed and nuanced sound with a wide range of articulations for each instrument section. - Recorded with individual instruments and sections, allowing for precise control over the orchestral sound. - Emphasizes realism and authenticity, capturing the subtlety of the orchestra with great depth. 3. Flexibility and Workflow: - Albion One: - Offers a faster workflow for those looking to quickly sketch ideas or create cinematic scores without needing to tweak individual instruments. - The hybrid elements and loops make it ideal for modern, epic, or action-oriented compositions. - It’s more of a "grab-and-go" tool, especially useful for deadlines and fast-paced production environments. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Provides greater flexibility in terms of orchestral detail and control. - Allows composers to build more intricate and traditional orchestral arrangements, with individual instruments and detailed articulations. - It may require more time and effort to work with, but the results are highly realistic and refined. 4. Learning Curve and Usability: - Albion One: - Generally easier to use, with a more accessible interface and a quicker learning curve. - Ideal for beginners or those who need a quick and efficient scoring tool. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - May require more time to learn due to its depth and complexity. - Better suited for composers with experience in orchestral scoring or those who require a high level of control and detail in their compositions. 5. Price Point: - Albion One: - Positioned at a mid-range price point, making it a good value for what it offers as an all-in-one orchestral tool. - A good investment for those looking for a versatile and comprehensive cinematic scoring solution. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Generally priced higher than Albion One, reflecting its focus on quality and realism. - Considered a good investment for those serious about orchestral composition and who need a professional-grade orchestral library. 6. Use Cases: - Albion One: - Best for cinematic, epic, and action-driven scores, where quick results and a lush, ensemble sound are needed. - Great for sketching ideas and for use in media that require a modern, hybrid orchestral approach. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Best for traditional orchestral work, film scores, classical music, and any project requiring a high degree of realism and detail. - Ideal for composers looking to replicate the sound of a real orchestra with precision. Conclusion: - Albion One is an excellent choice if you need a versatile, cinematic toolkit that can produce epic sounds quickly and efficiently. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core is the better option if you require a detailed, realistic orchestral library for more traditional or nuanced compositions.

With your current deal.... I might as well spend $149 and get 3 plugins instead of 2... but they've had a ton of different sales over the years... I'll just wait for a better sale... It's not like I don't have a ton of compressors, EQs, etc. I'm not hurting for anything new. They'll need to bring a extremely good sale to dig into my pockets! In my opinion, The current buy 1 get one for 39.99 isn't a good sale, since a majority of their plugins are over 10 years old. I'm only interested into the Elysia Alpha Compressor, but I don't have to have it. I have time to wait and wait and wait. I may end up buying something else, kind of like when I bought Shaperbox instead of Shade. I actually needed one of them, and at the time, Shaperbox was cheaper. I plan to buy another instrument from https://www.indiginus.com/ unless I see a sale I can't refuse. Sales from Plugin Alliance: July 2024 they did a PA ANY Plugin $29.99 back for 96 hrs only July 19 in Deals they had a Unlimited $29.99 plugins for 96 hrs AGAIN May 28th Louder Than Liftoff Epic Savings: Silver Bullet mk2 Plugin Now $30 – Don't Miss Out! Nov 20 2023 Plugin Alliance - Get up to 3 Plugins at $29.99 each (But not the recent ones and not so recent ones) Sept 5th 2023 Do you have an unused September $75 Plugin Alliance Voucher this month? I could use it. Aug 25 2023 [GONE] Plugin Alliance August 2023 $75 Vouche If they want me as a new customer (other than what Native Instruments gave me for free from Komplete 14 Standard), they'll have to swing lower on the prices. Otherwise I'm just buying new instruments.

I have both of those and with rewire for Sonar Producer, i can run those in any daw that supports rewire.
-
Yes.. Shaperbox is complex, but Shade seems even more complex. I am starting to think about just keeping Shaperbox. The ReverbShaper is off the chain and I'll never need another reverb plugin now After doing research, there's things Shade can't do that Fabfilter can do.. like EQ matching.
-
Thanks for reminding me.. I do have smart:EQ 4 that I don't use as much because on several occasions it has crashed my DAW, unlike smart:EQ 3. I have been waiting a long time to get a great deal with SHADE, and I'm thinking it'll never go that low again, but I kinda want to stop buying EQs and Fabfilter seems to be what everyone says we'll help me stop needing to buy another EQ. I guess SHADE can't do everything that Fabfilter can do. I have an iPad, and Fabfilter total bundle is so cheap for iPad... I'm trying to figure out how to use it on iPad then bring it back to desktop. I've tried to push Cakewalk to be my favorite DAW on iPad, but it seems they don't want to do that.. I'm looking for a DAW with PDC on iPad to make it worth getting Fabfilter on it. I have wasted money on Cubasis and pissed off at the developers whom won't ever add PDC! I'll never buy another Steinberg product again! I love Cakewalk and all it's created, just wish it would exist on iPad and make my dreams come true!

Do you know Blue Cat Audio on a personal level possibly?
-
Gullfoss's website explains it's a auto EQ, unlike the other two mentioned, plus it's more expensive than Fabfilter at $199! Shade is on sale for $39. Fabfilter isn't on sale...for $169.

I wonder when they'll make Plugin Script 28% off? 🧐
