Found it here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1366318-REG/blackmagic_design_dv_resstud_davinci_resolve_stud_color.html DaVinci Resolve Studio enhances video creation with GPU-accelerated performance, 8K+ support, advanced color grading (HDR, Dolby Vision), AI-powered tools (Magic Mask, Smart Reframe), noise reduction, motion blur, professional Fairlight audio, Fusion VFX, and multi-user collaboration. It’s a one-time purchase with lifetime updates, making it a top-tier editing suite for filmmakers, content creators, and professionals. It's got like 12 hours left from 12:00pm EST. I just bought this since I like to own it forever and for the video editing FX plugins you can't get with the free version. And other reasons. My friends told me if I didn't get it now, I might regret passing this up as it usually sells for $295, and most sells didn't get less than $235. Video & Music go hand in hand these days.

I wish you didn't bump this 😢 It made me realize it's not free anymore.

Cableguys updates ShaperBox to v3.5.5 and MidiShaper to v1.6.1
GTsongwriter replied to TheSteven's topic in Deals
Be happy they added a Code Signing Certificate to it this time! If you have the old version, you'll notice right before you install, Windows will pop-up with a "Unknown Publisher" warning. Now it has publisher information- 1 reply

Doesn't SSL use some known Lock program that requires a dongle?

Just be wary... there's known bug right now with it. The bug stops Waves Audio Sync VX from completing it's processing and it will hang forever! For people that own StudioRack, the StudioVerse plugins and COSMOS (part of CR8), will have issues with it. (At least what they told me... however, on my new computer I don't have those installed.) Solution: Close your DAW Remove WavesPluginServer by ending task in Windows Task Manager Then removing it from your windows startup Using File Explorer, navigate to “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup” Remove the “WavesPluginServer” shortcut Once you do this, it should fix this issue. I'm unsure if they plan to fix it or not.

I think I figured this out. The code seems to only work on non-loyalty offers, but it only gives a small discount, but not as much as your loyalty offer. -

Coming Soon: Scaler 3 - buy Scaler 2 now, get the upgrade free
GTsongwriter replied to audioschmaudio's topic in Deals
If version 3 comes in a "lite" version without all the extra content, I would be interested into seeing if it's better than Scaler 1. The extra content is what turned me off Scaler 2. -
Cakewalk Keeps shutting down. WHY????
GTsongwriter replied to LexiStaul's topic in Production Techniques
Have you tried to export with all the plugins disabled, then if that works fine, to enable 1 or 2 plugins then export repeat until you find which plugin is the issue? -
Coming Soon: Scaler 3 - buy Scaler 2 now, get the upgrade free
GTsongwriter replied to audioschmaudio's topic in Deals
I have never felt a need to buy it since there's plugins that replicate it via scripts in Reaper, then I can import the midi files created in Reaper into Cakewalk, because I have several Cakewalk plugins that only work in Cakewalk that I still use to this day! -
Trackspacer by Wavesfactory: $29 @ Plugin Boutique

I thought about this, but I've already got FUSER. -
What can it do that most other metering plugins can't do?
-
Although, I have numerous plugins, I will still buy samples from https://www.indiginus.com/ and other instruments. Those you can never really have enough of... Different varieties of instruments!

You know...CC Larry jumped off this train long ago!

I wouldn't run any VM inside windows 11 due to how resource heavy windows 11 is. Proxmox is made for this and ia the least resource heavy and it has the ability to do PASS-THRU with GPU and USB, among others. If I run a windows 10 VM on it, I can protect it with Proxmox security and firewall. To the world, windows 10 would appear as a Linux computer. I'm pretty well versed in Linux. I am not worried about a little overhead. The positives outweigh the negatives. Doing this would allow me to upgrade easier, where all I have to do is move the VM to the new computer and I would never have to worry about vendor issues and take advantages of new technologies. I plan to have multiple VMs, one for gaming, one for programming, one for the DAW. This will increase performance of the VMs because the softwares are not competing with one another. [My Positives of Proxmox] - Seamless Switching: Quickly suspend and resume VMs without needing to reboot. - Complete Isolation: Gaming, DAW, and programming workflows are fully isolated, preventing software conflicts. - High Performance: My new system's hardware is well-suited for virtualization. - GPU Passthrough: I have a Dedicated GPU for gaming and integrated GPU for DAW ensures near-native performance. - Low-Latency Audio: Real-time kernel and proper tuning can achieve low-latency for singing and DAW tasks. - Flexibility: Allows me to add new VMs for additional workflows like video editing or testing setups. - Portability: VM migration between systems (e.g., desktop to laptop) is straightforward. - Backup and Snapshots: Built-in snapshot feature is like a backup system onhand. You can install new plugins, and if you don't like them, you can revert back super easy! - Future Scalability: Easily scale workflows and add resources as needed. - Security: Virtualized environments improve isolation and reduce risks of cross-environment vulnerabilities. [Remaining Negatives of Proxmox for Your Use Case] - Compatibility Concerns: Some games (World of Warcraft, World of Tanks, Steam games) may have issues with anti-cheat systems in virtualized environments. - Plugin Licensing: Certain DAW plugins may detect virtualization and cause licensing issues. I'm just curious if anyone has had issues with any vendor putting their plugins on any windows VM?
-
I'm thinking of moving all my plugins into a windows 10 VM on top of proxmox. Currently, I've noticed how buggy windows 11 pro is with plugins and my DAW. nearly crashing it, but on my old computer with windows 10, works flawlessly! So .. Anyone know vendors I'll have issues with moving them into a windows 10 VM?

MeldaProduction Analog Empire: Pads & Strings - Intro Price $9 / 9€ (or free)
GTsongwriter replied to BTP's topic in Deals
I don't touch any Melda Productions plugins of version 17+ due to Virus Total detecting it being maleware due to their new installer. I've got the latest 16 version, and that's where I plan to stay.
