Looks like $550 for upgrade from core to PRO and $275 if that's 50% off. I took at long look at it and decided I could do more stuff with $275 than needing anything more than core. Plus, I would need to buy more hard drive space for that library! There's several guitar libraries from Indiginus that I need to still get.

Does anyone know if this would work on upgrades from core to pro for BBC Symphony Orchestra?

Is that coupon usable here: https://ddmf.eu/plugindoctor/ ???

ππππππ ππππππ ππππππzzzzz I shouldn't have ever bought Sonible EQ plugins...as I realize how badly it has made me at EQing and that my music doesn't sound professional as it should. My solution: I bought Audio Evolution Mobile Studio for iPad, FabFilter Pro Bundle for iPad, FabFilter FX Creative Bundle for iPad, Startech USB C Hub ($19.99 89% off https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09NZLKR9D ), and X31 Beetle SSD 512gb (on sale at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0C4KQ6ZWL for $47.80 32% off) for my 10th Generation iPad. Audio Evolution Mobile Studio (AEMS) has PDC currently for Audio Tracks only and requires no subscription. I used this setup last night and works great! I mixed down the song and I can really hear the separation of instruments and vocals so clearly now. I didn't realize that Sonible EQ was muddying the mix until I mixed it myself using FabFilter plugins. I had to quick learn some basic EQ technics, but after a couple of videos, I was able to EQ my tracks much better than Sonible, iZotope, and other A.I. based EQ software. So, the other "A.I." EQs was making the song sound bad and making me lazy at doing it myself at the same time! I also learned the importance of listening to your favorite song to "retune" your ears every so often, because over time your ears will alchemate to the song your working on and you'll stop hearing problems in your mix. All within 1 night, I was about to fix the song just using Pro-Q3, Pro-L2, Pro-MB, and Saturn. I can now clearly hear each instrument and vocal, and have them placed in the mix so perfectly that you can switch your hearing to each to listen to the intimate details of each vocal and instrument while the song is playing. I never thought I would achieve this kind of clarity. I thought it was suppose to sound like it does, but never realized it was what I was using that was messing me up. I learned that I can "cut" the sides of the EQ and boost the "mid" of the EQ so that I could center my guitar in the mix, then I cut the left EQ on the right instrument and cut the right EQ on the left instrument. I know about panning, but cutting the EQ works so much better than panning alone. Using these methods I was able to mix the instruments in different positions in the stereo field to create a 3D effect AND you can listen to the intimate details of each! I would let you listen to it, but it's not my song. You'll have a hear once it's finished. I'm in collaboration with M.Bock Music on YouTube via Bandlab. I introduced her to Bandlab.

I've got iPad , and I don't see Native Instruments nor Kontakt in the app store.
-
Rapture was buggy as hell.
-
Thought they changed that to Next and Sonar which requires Bandlab subscription?
-
I just don't like to have the overhead of iLok running in the background on my computer.
-
The challenge with Sonar Producer is that it's outdated, and I prefer not to subscribe to any software. To access better features, I purchased a perpetual license from a competitor's product, as Cakewalk currently does not offer a non-subscription option.

Audio Evolution Mobile Studio's PDC (Plugin Delay Compensation) for audio tracks is a feature that ensures all audio tracks in your project remain perfectly in sync, even when you're using plugins that introduce a delay. When you apply certain effects or processing plugins to an audio track, these plugins may take a little time to process the sound, which can cause the track to play slightly later than other tracks. This delay could result in the tracks sounding out of sync, which would affect the overall mix. PDC for audio tracks compensates for this delay by automatically adjusting the timing of the other tracks so that everything plays together in perfect sync. However, it's important to note that this feature only works on audio tracks and does not apply to instrument tracks. So, while your recorded audio tracks will stay in sync, you may still need to manually adjust timing for instrument tracks if plugins introduce a delay there, for which I didn't ask the developer if he or she has a manual adjustment feature.

Buy NOW, then pay every year after for updates!!!?!?!
-
Can't believe I waited year for a sale on this and I end up not buying it because I talk myself out of it for the real reason, I thought I'd get something like Pro-Q3 , but end up finding it's missing too many features for a perfect EQ alternative.

I guess I decided to get a SSD for my ipad, along with a USB-C powered hub for charging my ipad while my Focusrite is hooked up to it so that I can get 96khz. Focusrite works with iPad without any addition software! Plugin play. I also got the Sk Hynix Beetle x31 SSD drive for moving the projects from windows to ipad. I've bought Audio Evolution Mobile on iOS, because Cubasis doesn't have PDC! I will be buying Fabfilter for iOS soon... And then I'll mix / master on it. I'll create the music samples on desktop, then do all the mixing and mastering while laying down in my bed

Requires iLok?

I got Core because you can always upgrade to Pro later if you need it.

What did you do with the people?

I picked and waited for the sale of BBC Symphony Orchestra Core because Albion One is significantly older than the BBC Symphony Orchestra Core by around 8 years. Also, I wanted my instruments to sound more realistic. Hereβs something to help you decide: Albion One vs. BBC Symphony Orchestra Core 1. Purpose and Design: - Albion One: - Designed as an all-in-one cinematic orchestral toolkit. - Focuses on providing a broad range of orchestral sounds, combining orchestral sections, loops, percussion, and hybrid elements. - Aimed at composers who need a quick, versatile solution for cinematic music, particularly in film, TV, and video game scoring. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Designed to offer a highly detailed and realistic orchestral experience. - Focuses on accurately capturing the sound of a full symphony orchestra, recorded at the famous Maida Vale Studios. - Aimed at composers and producers looking for authentic orchestral sounds, ideal for traditional orchestral scoring in a wide range of genres. 2. Sound Quality and Articulations: - Albion One: - Includes a broad range of articulations, but they are more general and aimed at versatility rather than deep detail. - Offers an ensemble-based approach, where sections like strings, brass, and woodwinds are recorded together, providing a lush, cinematic sound but with less control over individual instruments. - Incorporates both organic and hybrid sounds, with some synths and effects for modern cinematic scoring. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Provides a more detailed and nuanced sound with a wide range of articulations for each instrument section. - Recorded with individual instruments and sections, allowing for precise control over the orchestral sound. - Emphasizes realism and authenticity, capturing the subtlety of the orchestra with great depth. 3. Flexibility and Workflow: - Albion One: - Offers a faster workflow for those looking to quickly sketch ideas or create cinematic scores without needing to tweak individual instruments. - The hybrid elements and loops make it ideal for modern, epic, or action-oriented compositions. - Itβs more of a "grab-and-go" tool, especially useful for deadlines and fast-paced production environments. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Provides greater flexibility in terms of orchestral detail and control. - Allows composers to build more intricate and traditional orchestral arrangements, with individual instruments and detailed articulations. - It may require more time and effort to work with, but the results are highly realistic and refined. 4. Learning Curve and Usability: - Albion One: - Generally easier to use, with a more accessible interface and a quicker learning curve. - Ideal for beginners or those who need a quick and efficient scoring tool. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - May require more time to learn due to its depth and complexity. - Better suited for composers with experience in orchestral scoring or those who require a high level of control and detail in their compositions. 5. Price Point: - Albion One: - Positioned at a mid-range price point, making it a good value for what it offers as an all-in-one orchestral tool. - A good investment for those looking for a versatile and comprehensive cinematic scoring solution. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Generally priced higher than Albion One, reflecting its focus on quality and realism. - Considered a good investment for those serious about orchestral composition and who need a professional-grade orchestral library. 6. Use Cases: - Albion One: - Best for cinematic, epic, and action-driven scores, where quick results and a lush, ensemble sound are needed. - Great for sketching ideas and for use in media that require a modern, hybrid orchestral approach. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core: - Best for traditional orchestral work, film scores, classical music, and any project requiring a high degree of realism and detail. - Ideal for composers looking to replicate the sound of a real orchestra with precision. Conclusion: - Albion One is an excellent choice if you need a versatile, cinematic toolkit that can produce epic sounds quickly and efficiently. - BBC Symphony Orchestra Core is the better option if you require a detailed, realistic orchestral library for more traditional or nuanced compositions.
