There's been many times I would love to just shrug, but can't. Can y'all add a Shrug icon to the reaction area?

I tried East West OPUS a year or two ago.. my computer can not handle it's processing requirements. East West OPUS is power hungry!

I know this is offtopic, please forgive me, but... I own a handful of Sonible plugins... and Smart Reverb disappoints me with all the crashing it does. I have Sonible's Metering Bundle and that works pretty well. Love Sonible's Smart EQ. I just hate their Smart Reverb plugin, because it keeps crashing my DAW at random times.

I've heard so much good about Fabfilter, but they are always out of my price range it isn't even worth me trying. Maybe it's only for real studio producers whom make money from music?

Melodyne is awesome software! I've been upgrading, before they had other versions. They used to only have a single version of Melodyne. I currently own Melodyne Studio 5!

Expansion packs start at $6.50 Everything else starts at $32.00 ... Big difference!

I'm glad they made it free again. This time I'm getting it! Get this before you don't forgive yourself from not getting it! Edit: Even if it isn't a plugin, I just bought Audio Virtual Cable from https://vac.muzychenko.net/en/ So, I can reroute the audio from my DAW into Audiolens and then back into my DAW and use it just like a plugin!

I wonder when is the "Upgrade from Acoustica Premium Edition 7.x" going on sale? -
Acon Digital Verberate 2 IMSTA Sale (Exclusive)
GTsongwriter replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I'm not fond of Acon's Verberate plugin, but all of their restoration plugins are much better than iZotope RX! Acon Digital's Acoustica Premium Edition is worth it! DeNoise 2 barely uses 0.5% of my CPU compared to RX Standard starting at 4% and can go higher the more load you put on iZotope. It's crazy how Acon can make such superior products while keeping the quality at a extremely high standard! When I open Acon, it's instantly there, whereas iZotope RX takes quite some time to load. I knowing this, I should have only bought Acon instead of iZotope RX Standard. Acon consistently over performs iZotope, it's crazy! I've got iZotope RX Standard and when I want to remove noise out any audio restoration, my go to is Acon Acoustica Premium Edition! DeNoise 2 also has "learn mode" where it can learn what the "noise" sounds like and will remove it from your audio! -
Like the idea... Plan to replicate this in Reaktor.

When's the next Standard update sale? -
Right, I guess I've over reacted. Apologies.

If you buy into subscription plans, you are telling those businesses it's okay to have subscription plans and you don't want to own anything. You'll just rent from them. It's slavery! If you stop paying, you loose everything! If you buy into subscription plans, your hurting others in that process! Don't buy into subscription plan no matter how much shiny they put in front of you! Subscription plans = legalized slavery!

If I was forced to go into a subscription, I would pick Waves Ultimate over all others. Why? Because of their massive library of generalized plugins. Generalized, meaning, their focus is on coverage of everything and more instead of just one specific area. Antarestech's focus is on vocals. Why would I want just vocal plugins in a subscription plan? Does Antarestech have their own instruments or sampler instrument? For now....I'm going to stay away from all subscriptions no matter what kind of steak is being held in front on me. Anyone whom does subscriptions is saying it's okay to have subscriptions to those businesses whom sell plugins. Your also making it harder on everyone else that just wants to own them and not rent them!

I'm wary of their Smart Reverb, it had crashed my DAW multiple times. I emailed them about it, but supposedly I need to collect data for them and send another email back with it the next time I use it... If I use it. Time is money and I don't have time for bug reports. I'll just pick another reverb plugin that doesn't crash. I've not had any issues like that with Smart EQ and their Metering Bundle.

If you've got $174.99/yr. extra money laying around. I'm satisfied with buying a perpetual license at $349 rather than subscription. Cause of you forget at the end of the year, you'll pay dearly! Subscription plans like that try to get you used to their Plugins, and if you stop using them, you have to find alternatives. Best to not even start!

Welp. I can trust everyplugin.com now. I've made my first order with them for waves update plan!
-
Everyplugin is only saving me $5... So it might not be worth the possible hacker?
-
I'm really invested into the "Nx Germano Studios New York". I have also bought the headband. It's one of the best things Waves has ever created! So, I'll be keeping it updated.

The really weird thing is what Gmail said to me: "Gmail can't authenticate this email was sent from this user." That's basically what Gmail told me when they replied. Do you think a hacker has gotten to their email account?
-
So .. I sent them the info they requested, now I wait for a email back?
-
Is this company trustworthy? I've not heard of them.
