With Reaper, you can force over sampling on any plugin!

Yeah, I got cut while moving equipment. So, instead of a normal bandage, someone gave me new skin. It's a highly annoying product as I couldn't figure out when it dries because it's clear! After about 15 minutes, I decided to touch it... and even though it still looks wet, it's dry! Next time I'm going for a normal bandage, at least you don't have to wait around to figure out when it's dry

Talk you out of it? Other than being better at De-essing than iZotope RX Standard De-esser and Acon Acoustica Premium De-esser, it's pretty much useless.

Scheps Omni Channel is one of Waves best plugins ever made! I tried it on Vocals, and to be able to dial in the de-esser is awesome! Great thing is, you can demo thier plugins before you buy!

I am however looking for a pair of speakers, small ones for my home studio. Nothing that will disturb people around the house. I thought about buying a new pair of headphones...neumann ndh 20 from zzounds on monthly payment, but just a thought. I was looking for a more comfortable pair for longer sessions. Sony MDR can be pretty tight hugging your head.

In my 2015 computer, Kontakt 7 is a power hungry CPU and GPU hog! The libraries I can run in Kontakt 5 run tons more smoothly than in Kontakt 7. I always try to run the earliest product they have for the library. If I could run Kontakt 5 for all the libraries I would. For some of their recent libraries I can only run Kontakt 6 as the earliest. It seems the more bigger Kontakt gets, the more processing power out demands. Either the programmers of Kontakt 5 don't exists anymore or they don't know how to save processing power by using assembly language to do the heavy lifting.

Emvoice is crazy. The only thing I don't like is "Internet connection required for use". Requiring a internet connection is going to be a huge deciding factor for me. It would mean I would have to build a machine that would be able to stay on the internet for that process? I could build a Linux box and use Reaper to link to Reaper, then that way I could use process like that way. I don't wish them to have 24/7 access to my music station. Even thought I have Sonar Producer and really enjoy Cakewalk, Reaper has been my go to for projects requiring remote systems. I don't think Cakewalk can link to other Cakewalk systems and share processing power. Edit: There other problem with this plugin requiring online access is if the company goes belly up. Now your stuck with a useless plugin! Edit 2: If this is the best thing for now, it maybe worth the risk verse the company just going belly up. Edit 3: So, basically in thier terms of service, you really can't write any songs... LoL! Just for the one word "tortious" mentioned in the terms of service! From their terms of service: "Neither Emvoice nor Users shall share any Emvoice generated Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, tortious, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, prejudicial, profane, invasive of another’s privacy, or hateful. Pattern violations will result in termination of service." So, I guess your creation use limited to children friendly content using this product, else they'll terminate your software (which they can) because of the terms of service and they'll keep track of what you use it to sing. No "making explicit and offensive reference to ***** or bodily functions; coarse and rude." = Vulgar Don't make songs that "wrongly accuses someone of something" = libelous You can't write religious songs "relating or devoted to that which is not sacred or biblical; secular rather than religious." = Profane Any songs that you can be sued for in civil court (which in America can be anything) "tortious behavior is any behavior (other than breach of contract) that may be sued upon as a civil wrong." = tortious Don't make any songs that can harm someone? Anyone can get harmed by any song even if you don't speak any names. "harmful to someone or something; detrimental." = prejudicial Edit 4: Here's a breakdown of the meaning of each word or phrase: 1. Unlawful: Refers to content that violates the law or legal regulations. 2. Harmful: Content that causes harm, damage, or injury to others. 3. Threatening: Content that conveys a serious intention to harm, intimidate, or cause fear. 4. Abusive: Content that involves the use of offensive language, insults, or mistreatment towards others. 5. Tortious: Refers to conduct that gives rise to a civil wrong or a violation of someone's legal rights. 6. Defamatory: Content that contains false statements about someone that harm their reputation. 7. I hope it's a easy button to delete all of those spam posts, if not, I feel awful for you! There should be a better spam guard, to not allow so many posts from a newbie! Maybe require the newbie to first gain some reputation before being able to post more than 3 a day. I really want to retaliate and give this phone number to a known prank call host to have his prank call team call them up and annoy them as much as they have annoyed everyone here! It's horrible that someone thinks spamming like this would get anyone to even use their services!

Wow! It's gone up by $59 or did I get it on sell for $20?

The only problem I have with updating Waves software is it won't let me just update the one that still has a subscription. It makes me update all the plugins I have! So, if one of them doesn't have a subscription, and it updates, it will go into demo mode! It's horrible! Edit: So, I've made my decision to never update any plugins I buy from waves!

What is relay and what products comes with it?

Everyone is always looking for Fabfilter alternatives. Do they use ilok? I am thinking I should just save up for the massive Fabfilter bundle and be done with plugin searching. I've heard of people just using Fabfilter for everything and it's they only thing they need. Is this true?

I can never seem to find Scaler for $10. I'm a hobbyist on a hobbyist budget and I don't put my songs out there to make money. It's only for fun on YouTube. Making music isn't a business model for me. Too much competition. I hardly use Scaler anyways as it's so frustrating, because it keeps changing my flats to sharps or my sharps to flats (it's one of those directions). I couldn't find a setting solution. Has this been fixed in a update or does it still demand one or the other when searching for chords in the search box?

So, I'm figuring out my voice isn't really a good voice for singing. I can create music and write new songs, but my voice isn't on par with even average singers. I'm trying to see where would be the best place to find singers whom are either just starting out or those whom didn't make it yet can sing basically average or a hobbyist singer. I am a hobbyist looking for hobbyist. I'm not in anyway trying to spend money for a singer, as I know where to pay for singers. Just want to see if I can find a hobbyist singer whom just loves to sing new songs. Anyone know a good direction, as Google hasn't helped me much or I'm not typing in the correct words into Google for it to help me correctly? Many Thanks!
