  1. RAM and NAND chip prices aren't like most PC parts as they are traded commodities. So they tend to fluctuate in both directions like other commodities such as oil and wheat etc, due to there being a market to trade them. The market is for the chips only and not the finished sticks or drives. There has been a large oversupply of both chip types since roughly the middle of last year, so these price drops have been well signposted. The reports are saying that prices will continue to fall until the oversupply has been corrected. It's hard to say when that will be as it depends on demand (the economy!) and how aggressive the manufacturers are in managing or even reducing supply. At least one manufacturer has said they will reduce supply; not sure if that was for NAND or RAM or both! There are only a handful of companies making both types of chips in volume, so the volatility can be induced by the actions of just one company. To be clear, many sellers of RAM sticks and SSDs buy the raw chips made by the handful of chip manufacturers. https://www.dramexchange.com/
  2. It's a promotion for new customers only, so not a sale in the usual sense. Not that I give a flying Roger Waters.
  3. You have to be patient to get the Upgrade for around $175, but I have seen it around that price multiple times.
  4. The cheapest I have seen is to buy the Upgrade from Lite and then pick up Lite from KVR or Knobcloud. About $190 in total.
  5. Do they allow license transfers? I tend to generally avoid products if they can't be, unless they are cheap or considered essential.
  6. I just looked and unsurprisingly they have removed the info on Convology, Ozone and Melodyne. It might put them in an awkward spot with some buyers, who could have bought the bundle specifically for some of those. Convology XT Complete is the one that I have never seen bundled this cheaply.
  7. One thing to be aware of this when you click on the link, it will show you an inflated price, of £25.84 in my case. The whole bundle is available from £20.84 but they automatically add an optional extra. So if you want to pay the base price, click on the button saying “Entire 15 item bundle” and it will revert to the base price. You can also pay a custom amount or adjust the ratio of money that goes to the vendor, Humble and the charity.
  8. It always looked wrong, so a copy and paste error from someone! Why give away Convology with X5 on Humble, when even X7 (non Suite) doesn't get it when bought direct? No Melodyne 5 Essential or Ozone 9 Elements either. I have the free version of Convology but wasn't tempted by XT Complete. Anyone here digging it? I'm just not much of an IR person.
  9. I bought a Magix bundle from Fanatical in the past. It came as a single redemption code as opposed to a bunch of serial numbers. I redeemed that and received a bunch of serial numbers beginning with P3. So if Humble just give you P3 serial numbers, you won’t be able to access any of the extras that require serial numbers from 3rd party vendors.
  10. Nostradamus predicted that Waves would trouble the people of the Earth in 2023. He said something about a commotion in the clouds, which I believe relates to all the sellers on Knobcloud trying to dump their soon to be worthless licences. So this must be what he referred to, unless I am mixing it up with The Mayan calendar or a cataclysmic flood. I must stop watching conspiracy theory vids on YouTube.
  11. £109 for me as opposed to £129 as I own the first BDT. But there's also an offer for £219 to complete the collection, which equates to £59 off CDT. If you picked up BDT as part of the Ton, that's a nice bonus discount. Not tempted myself.
  12. Wow, then that makes the deal a lot better. I read it on my phone and didn't scroll through the fine details, so made the classic mistake of assuming. Doh.
  13. You won't get Convology as it comes with the Suite version. I doubt you will get CoreFX either as it's a separate serial number. Also, you won't get bundled extras with Sound Forge as you will if you buy direct. They strip it down to the basics.
  14. Signed in as a Guest, gave my UK address, paid with PayPal using the same UK address. Just checked the PDF invoice and it shows my UK address and states: Upgrade: VEGAS Edit (=Upgrade) (US). Hope it let's me register it to my UK account!
  15. I bought it using PayPal with a UK address but it rejected payment with a UK card. The irony being that my PayPal account uses a UK card anyway!
  16. I have at least half a dozen reverbs that I've never used or installed due to getting them in bundles. I don't know where you get the time to try them all.
  17. I have two freebies and one that came in a very cheap Plugin Boutique bundle, which I assigned zero value to. I haven’t installed any of them, partly because they updated their app and website and had loads of problems. Maybe one day! 2025 maybe, make a New Year’s resolution.
  18. I will wait as it's been a lot cheaper. Tempted to wait for a good deal on the DESIGN Bundle, which has been heavily discounted at times. I've just download the demo for this to whet my appetite. The videos blow my mind, but I really want to hear it in action first hand.
  19. “Every sound included in these packs were designed to fit the industry standard sound of today’s modern music.”. LOL.
  20. I don’t get out of bed for Eventide without a glitch code. ? They generously gave me the H9 bundle with the purchase of a second hand H9 Max pedal. Not many companies extend their promotions to used gear.
  21. You can pick this up from KVR for about $15.
  22. So they can go straight to the price of the VII which is from the future!
  23. Lunacy being the operative word for this 'deal'. ?
  24. Virtual Cash you will earn £1,010.22. Rewards+ Tokens 492.9 Very handy.
  25. I had an unused license for Model D via a PreSonus hardware purchase. I just registered that and immediately got an email with a voucher for $49 / 49€ off this Keysuite Bundle. So worth buying one for $10 or less to get the discount as they will be on KVR, Knobcloud etc.
