  1. It should work with any USB port that is 2.0 or higher. "1 USB-C ®-compatible 2.0 port USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables included for compatibility with most computer"
  2. There is a way to automatically save the downloads. Use an app that can automatically copy files that are created in user specified folders to another location. I have done this in the past but forget which app I used. They are downloaded as ISO files, so you need to mount them before installing.
  3. If starting out, the cheapest way is usually to buy Reason Lite from KVR etc for $10 and then buy the Upgrade from Lite for roughly $160 when it's on sale. This UK company still has it on sale from the last time, although the sale generally is over. They are a very large and reputable company: https://www.andertons.co.uk/upgrade-to-reason-12-for-intro-ltd-essentials-lite-owners-esd
  4. It will work unless they have completely overhauled their systems in the last 3 months. I can’t think of a company with a worse license management system. It may be why their customer support are often very generous; they just assume they screwed up and give you what you requested.
  5. Does the Focusrite freebie version get the free update? I don't have it but it's easy to pick up for $10 or in a trade.
  6. Izotope had a glitch earlier this year where anybody could buy the upgrade to their Complete bundle for $200 or less. They honoured that.
  7. They pulled it early, partly because they ran out of serial numbers and also because it was only meant to be for a limited audience.
  8. When I go to the link in my account for downloads it shows the previous version. But when I click on it, it gives me a list to select from and above the previous one is the latest one which is labelled new. At this point it also changed the OS, so check that before you download.
  9. This is the official line on availability of this deal: “As for this CineBrass Complete deal, it will only be available until 12pm California time today, Thursday November 3rd.”
  10. No idea, although I suspect it will require a lot of disk space!
  11. https://cinesamples.com/productBundle/cinebrass-complete-bundle The bundle is for these 5: CineBrass PRO CineBrass CORE CineBrass Descant Horn CineBrass Sonore CineBrass Horns of the Deep The voucher is Allbrass199
  12. Direct from Uhe on KVR: "Sure, buying from resellers is fine. Note that resellers have been asked to remove Zebra2 from their shops in the next few days."
  13. U-he's legacy seemingly is total confusion. ?
  14. $155 at Thomann if you don’t pay tax https://www.thomannmusic.com/u_he_zebra2.htm
  15. Z2 is cheaper here at $155 depending on whether you pay tax: https://www.thomannmusic.com/u_he_zebra2.htm
  16. I did get one of those freebies but no longer have it. Probably for the best or I might be tempted to buy this! ?
  17. It would be helpful if they stated whether the free LITE version is also encoded to work with Kontakt Player as is the paid for version. Nice to have access to a Lite version that is over 2.3GB anyway.
  18. Just marketing BS where they make it look as if this is an offer, when in fact it's just regular Upgrade/Update pricing. Although judging by all the negativity around K14, I wouldn't be amazed if they put it on sale earlier than normal next year.
  19. Referral links aren't allowed according to the sticky. Although I vote a special dispensation for you due to services rendered.
  20. I bought it with the code yesterday as did others at VIC.
  21. I have noticed more recently that some people are using referral links, so are those allowed? There have been a lot of 8Dio and Soundpaint links of this type, although more on VIC and KVR than here. In this case they get an account credit rather than money. Not sure how it works with other vendors. It doesn't bother me when regular posters include them when they post a deal, but I have recently seen people on VIC open an account and immediately start posting them.
  22. For anyone struggling to get their list of installed plugins over a thousand, this is a great deal! There's a heck of a lot in there for the money, but is it a case of quantity over quality? I have never tried their gear.
  23. They still have Symphony & Stratus which I think are the flagship reverbs anyway and already ported to native Apple Silicon. In terms of reverbs, they have trimmed the range back which is not a surprise. But retiring all the other reverbs plus Iris, BreakTweaker and Trash at the same time, is a shock.
  24. I owned the MIDI version of this in the late 80s I think. Not very popular at the time so it only cost me about $150. Certainly an unusual design for the time.
