  1. It's been the same for the last four years I think.
  2. It doesn't show up in my 11 Lite, I checked before posting. You mentioned above that you have 11 Intro and not Lite, so maybe that is the reason for the difference?
  3. You can pick up Reason 11 Lite for about $10 on other forums. You can run that version as a VST, but I don't think it comes with Europa. But if you have Europa with 10 Lite, maybe 11 would allow you to use it?
  4. The comment you referenced didn’t mention a specific sample company let alone a product. It was describing a previous issue and wondering if using older SC libraries might lead to the same problem. I agree that it’s unlikely to be an issue due to their general quality. Using older orchestral libraries is likely to be more of an issue than with keyboards.
  5. These should be available for ten to fifteen percent less from JRRSHOP using the code group or forum. Try them both as sometimes both work but with different discount amounts.
  6. KVR and VIC but worth trying Knobcloud too.
  7. The video sells it very well. If I didn't already have tools that are close enough to this for my needs, it would be very tempting. Worth consideration if you are new to this type of stuff.
  8. MSoundFactory is £100 for UK buyers and don't forget the choice of freebie. A hundred quid is about 2 days of heating bills currently in the UK.
  9. I nearly bought Bioscape a couple of times, but I have a few Soniccouture libraries which overlap with it so I passed. I had a code from signing up for a newsletter I think and it stacked with sale pricing which made it tempting. There are quite a few tools which use 4 layers and can import samples. I think the difference with SP is that you can incorporate complex multisamples from very detailed libraries. That's a rarity, although Sine may offer something similar! Not sure as I only started demoing it in the last few days as interested in Drones. OT came back to my query with this: "You can also switch and morph freely between different articulations on the same instrument with the polymap feature in SINE." I need to check this out, although it suggests that it only works within a single instrument which is much more limited than SP. OT are of course expensive though. The Creative Soundpacks bundle looks intriguing, but €499 + VAT is a kick in the ******. Whereas, as I have a lot of 8Dio stuff and they are offering crossgrades so it's a cheaper platform. They sent me crossgrade vouchers for the two new instruments, so I could buy both for a combined $25.
  10. Thanks. I am aware of that but not the finer details. SP allows you to use samples from various libraries at a very low level which couldn't be achieved via external methods. You can have samples from up to four libraries in one patch and even morph between them.
  11. The bundle is also at Audio Deluxe and there's a freebie assuming you haven't already claimed it. At least it was yesterday.
  12. Maybe no posting threads about software updates and most other non deal threads until after Cyber Monday?
  13. They've been 30% off the last 3 or 4 years. Links at the top of this page: https://vi-control.net/community/threads/live-now-november-black-friday-cyber-monday-deals-2022-edition.131829/
  14. Do you have to show proof that you are a partner in a legal or accountancy firm before they will sell it to you? ? Just send them a shot of your lounge with multiple Fender Custom Shop guitars hanging on the walls and you are good to go. They don't want people to actually play these! Stick it in a glass presentation case in the lobby.
  15. They also have them at Best Service which might be cheaper for some based on tax. There have been some good used deals recently, probably people selling duplicate libraries after the big bundle deals earlier this year.
  16. Unfortunately, the soundpacks are not on sale unless you buy the bundle of all 13 of them for €499 + tax. That's a good deal but too many I don't want.
  17. I might go for the Black MEGA All You Can Eat All Day WAV Buffet with the Extra Cheese Sample Pack with MIDI Mega Dressing.
  18. I'm not that bothered about the size of the libraries with 4TB SATA and PCIe M.2 drives available for ~$300 right now. So a 50GB library is costing less than $4 of disk space. Considering how cheap the libraries are, even if they are twice as large as the competition, that's only an extra $2 for storage for a 50GB library, so overall they are still cheap. They do have the benefit of allowing you to create patches using multiple PARTS from multiple SP libraries. This is what is exciting some people due to the potential for creating hybrid patches from a wide range of sources. I'm not a fan of sampled synths generally, but in this case they make sense as building blocks for hybrid patches. I tend to keep away from new platforms so haven't dived in yet. They have released a ton of libraries in their first year. So even though they are cheap individually, they add up already to well over $2k and they still haven't released the large orchestral libraries. Those will seemingly be very large in size.
  19. That was a fun video. The workflow looked very intuitive and quick.
  20. I have seen them closer to £250 inc tax. Right now in the UK, there are deals for 4TB PCIe drives for £300 and a bit under. Harder to incorporate four of those for most systems.
  21. Yes, I wish I'd bought it when it was 50% or so off.
  22. I am going to watch the walkthrough on YouTube later, but it would take a lot for me to buy another hybrid keyboard.
  23. I do wonder at times whether Larry tells the developers when it’s an appropriate time for them to have a sale. They are all waiting for the nod.
