There is a way around it, I've seen it in action. But personally I don't and never have had a problem with it the way it is, I prefer not to mess around with things and let them be the way they were meant to be.

Yeah, this is one of those things that after you have it dialed in how you want it, when you take it off you are left with something 'less' it must be put back for all to be well with the world. I use TI, but I don't install it, just boot from the bootable disc to do my backups, don't want anything extra, unnecessary running in the background. Works for me.

It doesn't exist. Just be sensible online, don't do any risky activities, have regular system backups and you'll be fine, even if the worst did happen, you are only a system restore away. For most of my online life I never used any AV, inbuilt or 3rd party, no firewall inbuilt or 3rd party, never did anything risky, never had a problem. Would I advise that to someone else? No, but for myself I was comfortable with it. Now I use Win 10's inbuilt AV and FW, although I might as well not, because they never get updated.

Purely from a deals point of view, personally I have found the combination of these sites to be superior to this subforum, prior or post said events. In terms of sheer volume of plugins purchased over the last month or so, at excellent prices, and plugs relevant to me, there is no contest. The ability to target what you want easily is another plus. I still visit here, mainly just to read a little, not necessarily for deals, and as I'm not a Cakewalk user, and haven't been since 2015, my only reason for visiting seems to be slowly slipping away ? . It's been a long ride, I seem to remember every now and then Larry would go 'missing' for a time on the old forums, with various reasons proffered by the members as to why ? It is what it is, make hay while the sun shines.? Shibalba, then it would be a race for second. This is of course with the proviso that good 3rd party Cab IR's are used. The only Amp Sim I've come across that doesn't require the use of 3rd party IR's is Amplitube 5, all the rest IMO 3rd party IR's are a must.
