yes - of course your 'old SSL bundle' would be surrendered as part of the upgrade but as you say Studio Classics would give you them all back again as V13 with a years WUP thrown in. Also make sure you get a price from everyplugin.com for anything Waves related. Don't buy direct There is an option to generate a 'code' to give to the 'local dealer' choose 'customize upgrade' and click the 'buying from your local dealer' link

not happening here ? have you done a 'restore my purchases' from within the latest version of AT5 ? you don't mention if it's mac/pc but if restoring purchases doesn't work it's possibly specific to your setup ? - try emailing support. I strongly suspect it isn't a bug.

It seems a bit random for me - I always get it in standalone but sometimes I don't when used as a plugin (windows10) I'd done what the pop-up message says "start the IK Multimedia Product Manager and restart AmpliTube 5" but no difference pretty annoying they are throwing out AT5 updates pretty quickly at the minute to take advantage of the x-gear and new GB users and I suspect they are failing to do much testing.

shipping is only slightly more expensive than it was - I think the free delivery tier was about £80 pre Brexit ? Either way it's all very transparent so it's easy to compare. The only downside for the impatient (like me!) is the 4 or 5 working day delivery PLUS the very long 'refund' times if you have to return something. I have to say that my experience with G4music has been (much) less than stellar......I'm unlikely to order from them again - although everybody's experience is different of course ?

Thomann in Germany have sorted it so they deal with all the paperwork - delivery takes about 4-5 days and NO extra charges. Free delivery over £160 and £8 under that amount. They bill in £ - returns are straightforward too, although extremely sloooooooowwwwwww There is an occasional popup that appears on the IKM site regarding buying hardware in the UK (I think - I never bother to read it !) - try logging out and in again to see if it triggers the popup. you can get lots of the IKM stuff on Amazon in the UK - they have their own 'store' (assuming you don't have an idealogical reason not to use Amazon ...some do)

obviously it depends on the kind of sounds you are looking for - but I personally find Hansa more useful than Death and Darkness

100% Decades As you say, Rock Foundry is getting a little old but it's still pretty good and hasn't been on sale yet. I have to say that Death and Darkness doesn't really do it for me .... and I picked that up for $98 dollars. any other options ? Hansa ?

Adding the extra freebies is great but for me a bit annoying.... I feel like I wasted some of my choices that I wouldn't have done if I'd have known that extra stuff was going to be added. I have the words of Larry still ringing in my ears "DO NOT SELECT YOUR FREEBIES UNTIL THE END!" - but I didn't have the will power. If some of my choices are 'unauthorised' is it possible to change them ?

thanks - it's not that they aren't licensed. The samples and presets are not in the Sampletron path - I'm not even sure if ST4 presets/samples 'can' be loaded in Sampletron ? - obviously the other way round isn't an issue.

I picked up Sampletron 2 in the GB It comes with a new set of samples but doesn't seem to include the Sampletron 1 samples that I have available in Sampletank 4 does anybody know any way to add these so that I can use them in the Sampletron 2 'engine' ? you can only have 1 sample path in the Sampletron 2 preferences.

agreed- although I have a bit of an issue with people being dishonest so for that reason I'm not buying.

The mic is pretty low quality - it's a measurement mic. I think, even with MIC ROOM the results would be pretty poor. I'm struggling to think of an application where it might work ok ? Basically don't buy the MEMS mic to use as a conventional mic - think of it as a (useless?) bonus if you have it for ARC. If you have it then why not give it a try and let us know what you think ?

this is just my personal opinion - and others may disagree - but ST4 (SE) isn't anywhere near as good as Kontakt 6. I could list some of the reasons but that would get boring You don't say what version of Kontakt you have have or if you have any expansions ? The excitement over this deal is more about the great value for money (IMO) - some of the t-racks stuff and AT5 are first rate
