Unfortunately didn't seem to work on the new Absolute 5 upgrade
-
no EZkeys update on the PC here - just one of the MIDI packs updated ?
-
watching @Simeon Amburgey's Amped Elektra video sent me to the SB site and I noticed that Absolute 5 has (quietly!?) been released https://new.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/absolute/ upgrade from V4 is £85 but I'm not sure there's really enough in the upgrade to pull the trigger https://new.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/absolute/new-features/ Halion doesn't get much use here ...I tend to use Kontakt Anyone else think it's worth the upgrade cost ?

I think you might be surprised how good they sound - I have the other session guitarist instruments and they sound amazing.

noticed today there is an update to Triton and Triton_Extreme...to version '.01' plus an update to the Software Pass application (to 1.1.4 iirc) On windows the software pass is still confused as to what you have installed - plus the installers seem to throw the vst2 .dll wherever they like so worth checking before you click 'next' on the installers.

I think Saverio was waiting for you to get back before launching this sale

which is irritating !
-
it's free but offers paid in-app subscription - so not quite sure what the limitations are without this ? plus I think it's the first Steinberg product to offer subscription.....which is worrying
-
as you already own them why not give them a try and see which you prefer ?

superior drummer 3 (IMO) - always been better with v-drums Hihat control is much better, especially the transitions between open/halfclosed/closed
-
as both a Cubase and Nuendo user (for many, many, many years!) that's not strictly accurate ....in my opinon support on both is pretty much a 'shrug' - I've support requests on both products open for months with zero response. Don't think you are buying into better support with Nuendo.
-
thanks - I get a 'download link has expired' message - oh well no reply from support either
-
anybody managed to get an updated download link sent via their webpage.....doesn't work for me
-
is that a beta - I thought 3.4.1.11 was the latest ?
-
btw the BFD inmusic thing is a bit of a disaster zone at the moment......I'm not saying it's not worth $49.99 but it has quite a lot of issues so expect some pain if you upgrade......eg you'll lose access to the BFD2 core library I'm not sure if those PB libraries are FXpansion or BFDDrums - maybe it doesn't matter...but there are two different licence servers...PB will sort out any issues of course. Incidentally Superior Drummer 3 is working beautifully ...although not at $49.99 EDIT ...Monomox beat me to the bad news.

Native Instruments Komplete upgrade deals starts June 1st!
simon replied to Yan Filiatrault's topic in Deals
just bought from T+S - anybody get hold of the freebies ? Also the order email said to use their own downloader to get Komplete, which seems odd -
yes - that seems to be the best option. ?

......And with this update (windows) when you quit it shrinks to the notification area and keeps running in the background. You have to right click the notification to quit. Nothing in the preferences to switch this behaviour off How annoying - why would you want the product portal running in the background the entire time, it's not as if izotope actually update anything !
