  1. I've stayed clear mainly because of this....and I too have a strong suspicion about of the source of his samples. if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck etc
  2. I think they are planning on a new release every week
  3. same for me - just checked again
  4. another EQ - just what we all need
  5. the IKM Leslies are great ?
  6. you may be right but in this case it's for a new installation not an update I'm fairly sure that when installing this for the 2nd time the install size was different though - think it was 600 and something Mb first time then 500 and something Mb 2nd time but wasn't paying much attention. I wonder if your explanation covers a fresh/new install too ....a pre-release update ?
  7. yes same for me..... thankfully it's only the LABS that seem to have this problem - can you imagine having to download BBCSO pro @ 600gig twice ?
  8. I totally understand - but they could have treated me (us?) as a 'normal' PG customer. I see no reason why buying from a reseller should be different from buying direct....which I think is the point Larry was making in this thread ?
  9. I bought it from AudioDeluxe and they said they couldn't register it and that all updates etc have to come from AD (or more specifically ILIO)
  10. add Unify/Pluginguru GigPerformer (I have the PA version) to that list too. I think they do it to discourage people from buying from resellers as they want that extra margin for themselves.
  11. I'm running the 4.5.0 beta too - and find it fairly stable on windows 10 / Cubase I do agree about the rather odd GUI choices pointed out by Kurre and the steep/vertical learning curve - More importantly I'd love to see some proper ongoing development. The latest beta took a couple of years to come out and it has very minor fixes. Judging from the progress it feels like it's a fairly low priority for Ralph. It's a shame because it has lots of potential locked away, deep within it. If I'm honest, I'd like it even more if Toontrack would build this functionality into Superior Drummer or EZdrummer. They would almost certainly fix the issues I, personally have with it. Just my opinion obvs
  12. the Cremona quartet sounds amazing IMO
  13. agreed it's really worth visiting the BFD forums to see the current situation with BFD3 https://forum.bfddrums.com/
  14. they haven't replied to my email yet so I suspect they are just reissuing new serials or whatever and haven't got round to looking at the emails yet. I'd give it an hour or two and then try the 'chat' function on the website - I've had them fix stuff straight away via that method I'm sure they'll get it sorted.....
  15. yep - I just got another 'thanks for your purchase' email and now the extra .rar file has appeared
  16. and same for me.....has anyone contacted support ? (edit tracingarcs already emailed)
  17. they must have done some kind of research when they put this collection together - and they must have looked at the use/sales data to work out what would sell. I'm guessing that my 2 yearly upgrades are a kind of subscription but I think I get way more value for money than this package. This subscription seems to make zero sense to me ?
  18. I don't know about that either way - but Reverberate has a great feature where you point it to folder full of IR and it builds a set of presets for you. It's a really great way to add your own IRs (did I mention that I really like Reverberate ?)
  19. I don't have the Slate plug but Reverberate is fantastic - plus lots of free IRs to download from Liquidsonics as well. https://www.liquidsonics.com/fusion-ir/reverberate-3/ The developer is really responsive too....I don't think you'll regret it.
  20. https://www.pianobook.co.uk/profile/jon-meyer/ highly recommended
  21. weren't they $29.99 yesterday ?
