We’ve all done this at one point or another. Jon is on the money, use your PRV zoom controls

How did you copy/paste ? Using the CNTRL+C/CNTRL+V or using the copy/paste menu ? I would try again but this time, make sure you are selecting the whole clip from Beat A to Beat B. Make sure Snap is enabled.

The yellow circle is one thing, the :57 seconds is another. Im not sure these 2 things are related. I believe you might be correct.

when you say thanks everyone, you mean me ? -
There's nothing to be fixed. Im not sure how you are missing 57 seconds off your clip but the yellow circle you are showing in the photo is less than one second (between 7:04 and 8:01).

I agree with both reply's above. I almost always put the compressor first in the chain (Compressor>EQ). Because if you use it after, your compressing frequency's you might not want to compress. There are times though, boosting certain frequency's can add a great effect.

Someone else was just complaining of this issue. Saying that hovering over them is not giving the double sided -M- needed in order to use the delete key. is that what your seeing ? No -M- icon upon hover over ? -
That can be done easily in Bandlab. I do it all the time. What did support say ?

I might not be understanding your question. Are you saying you Master, aiming for between 0 to +6 ? You should be aiming for 0db. and nothing over.

This is normal midi copy/paste behavior. Midi clips are not solid in form like audio clips, the "clip ends" only show if data is present. You can "heal" the clips by selecting both clips and choosing "Bounce to clips". Unless im misunderstanding your question. You may have snap enabled to 1/2 notes and some data cant be picked up.

Display Adapter Error Notification on Start up [Solved]
chuckebaby replied to Bill Phillips's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
The amount of CPU required is microscopic and does not increase latency in any way. Im not sure who told you that. There ARE sometimes conflicts between drivers which could pose a problem But those are only certain instances. Most users on this forum run Bandlab the same way. Use their onboard Audio enabled, their Soundcard for Sonar. -
Display Adapter Error Notification on Start up [Solved]

My motherboard audio is left on to monitor audio from YouTube, Media player, exc. Haven't had any issues because Onboard Audio controls that and my 18I8 uses its own independent speakers. This way I can also play along with You Tube while using my 18I8, thus using both soundcards simultaneously. No extra latency that I can see. I would give it a shot. -

I have an 18I8 as well and have never had an issue like this. I power up my PC. I then power up my 18I8 (and my Mackie Control) and then Power up Sonar/Bandlab. Im guessing it is directly correlated with the AMD RX 580 -
I know it’s not exactly what you want but have you tried the Custom module?
-
You might want to consider looking into a Monitor controller for these different speaker set ups. I use 3 pairs of speakers and I use a Mackie Big knob.
-
I believe you can go to... C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core and check the time stamp.
-
You have input echo engaged ? Try wiggling the headphone jack ? Is it a phantom powered mic ?
-
I picked up a Focusrite 18I8 for this very reason. It has 4 combo XLR-1/4 jacks and 4 line in jacks. Ive seen them as low as 199.99 used at Guitar Center. Good drivers, works/plays nice with Cakewalk.

The longest audio project ever or hold on a second?
chuckebaby replied to Shawn Lee Farrell's topic in The Coffee House
Very impressive Too bad we wont be alive to hear the outro and fade out -
The mfc120u.dll is directly linked to the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages. It should be noted, It is imperative to reboot your PC in order for these packages to fully install properly. Also of great importance is downloading them directly from MS. and no where else.

Im very surprised by this. Waves usually follows up within a day. Possibly the best support for any plug in on the market. Your errors are Visual C++ Runtime errors. This is synonymous with a failed C++ installation or one not present. That would be the first thing I would check. Second, just so we are all on the same page here... This is the latest Cakewalk by Bandlab your trying to use ?

Seems like the Sustain pedal is a common theme with both of your issues. Have you tried not using it and see if you still get stuck notes ? Why don't you post a .CWP project file here (midi only is fine) and I will take a look at it. You could also send in a project to Cakewalk and have them take a look at it but it might be helpful to include repro steps with your submitted projects. Those steps might be able to be figured out here in this thread. The default is 250MS.

I have to agree as well. At first I was puzzled by this behavior and it is tiresome when you are pasting different subsequent variations each time you use Special Paste, but after a while, it makes life easier when you have a ton of "same type Paste specials" in a row. Its a trade off with more benefits to keeping changes stored. That's for me anyway.

Sometimes overlapping notes can cause serious bodily injury when it comes to missing/dropped midi notes. Is it the same notes sticking all the time ? If it is than open the PRV and do a visual. I find 500MS is the typical norm. Did you start there and move up to 850MS ?? there's also some info here that may be helpful
