So, your missus has an app to control you using Bluetooth? ?

Yes, but which solo??? ? Although I can appreciate a master-class solo, I'm a big fan of any solo that fits the song perfectly.

Inspired by the Rick Beato interview with Steve Vai and Satch that Old Joad posted! These are the two they chose (I'll have to think about this one for a bit!):

Wow Dave, really??? They were my favorite band for quite a while around the end of high school and through college (well, my first three colleges anyway!?). I actually ended up working with a IT consultant named Jorge who was both Danny's neighbor in Malibu and good friend of his. Ironically, although they both shared a love for B-movies, Jorge didn't like his music much! ? The best part was when Jorge told Danny I was a big fan (and a member of Steve Bartek's forum; who was their guitarist). Danny gave him two upfront tickets to one of their famous Halloween shows at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater (I lived in Irvine) to give to me! I got to take the hottest girl in the office and we sat right next to Danny's wife and kid. ? I have some very good memories of that night! -
Vancouver Washington or Vancouver Canada? 'Cause there's a couple of us from the Vancouver Washington one (at least me and Kenny)!

Soooo ironic that he died in 2020, right?

(There's a quote from Frank Zappa below, that makes this post musical, ya? ?) Politics … If God wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates. — Jay Leno The problem with political jokes is they get elected. — Henry Cate, VII We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office — Aesop Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river. — Nikita Khrushchev When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become President; I'm beginning to believe it. — Clarence Darrow Politicians are people who, when they see light at the end of the tunnel, go out and buy some more tunnels. — John Quinton, American actor/writer Why pay money to have your family tree traced; go into politics and your opponents will do it for you. — Author unknown Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. — Ronald Reagan Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other. — Oscar Ameringer, “the Mark Twain of American socialism” I offer my opponents a bargain: if they will stop telling lies about us, I will stop telling the truth about them. — Adlai Stevenson, 1952 A politician is a fellow who will lay down your life for his country. — Tex Guinan Instead of giving a politician the keys to the city, it might be better to change the locks. — Doug Larson, English middle-distance runner who won gold medals at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games We'd all like to vote for the best man, but he’s never a candidate. — Kin Hubbard, American cartoonist/humorist An election is coming. Universal peace is declared and the foxes have a sincere interest in prolonging the lives of the poultry. — George Eliot Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied. — Otto von Bismarck Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies. — Groucho Marx Politics is the entertainment division of the military-industrial complex. —Frank Zappa Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself. — Mark Twain Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. — Salvor Hardin, in Isaac Asimov, Foundation saga If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it. — attrib. to Mark Twain
