  1. He often is! ? It's got the underscore in front of it in his post, which I suspect is why you couldn't find it. It's not a bad reminder anyway and John's comment is useful. I can't recall if I clicked add in Pigments or not now, so will check that too.
  2. Actually there were a couple in quick succession. It might have been the other one from APD and this one direct. I got it in June, so could've been this post too:
  3. Free back in June via APD, but nice that it's free for everyone directly on Arturia now instead.
  4. Thanks Craig, that was an upgrade price I thought made it reasonable too Any thoughts on whether ultimate is worth the upgrade at the same time? I just did the upgrade from Pro V1 to Pro V2 and the upgrade to ultimate is cheaper now as well.
  5. Handy to know, otherwise it was worth a shot! I'm not sure I would've even taken part, but lots of love for that deal around here, so it would've been great to see.
  6. Maybe we should contact them and see if they will do a forum offer / code for everyone again. It's good advertising for them and sounds like lots of people would take advantage of it
  7. Yeah that was the loyalty price John. I bought the bundle prior to DMX so I get the loyalty discount too, but someone that has never bought anything from them before can go to a reseller and get it on sale for pretty much the same price. They almost never let us down with sound though! The OB-X is my least favourite from them so far. I just haven't clicked with that one yet. All the others are really good.
  8. When did they change the minimum spend for the voucher back down to $32? I must have missed that.
  9. Physical iLok required I'd imagine. LFOTool has VST3 beta now apparently and I'd probably consider Cableguys, or Duck by Devious Machines before this instead and skip that requirement. Duck didn't actually seen to say VST3 though, so not sure on that one.
  10. Always with them unfortunately... There have been a few exceptions, but in general, their "loyalty" offers are always worse than buying outright elsewhere. Same with Sonible.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if that was more feedback from the survey they sent out. I dare say they heard a few of those things a lot!
  12. Eventide H9 plugins for $2, of whatever it was, is my kind of deal ?
  13. I have just started looking into these for a new system build. Trying to decide on system drive and library / sample drive. Reliability is my top consideration, but definitely want something that performs well too. Only really looking at 4TB or 2TB these days. These seem reasonably well regarded. Any downsides, or alternatives to consider? (will look into the Crucial mentioned by Barrie too)
  14. Great delay and even better on copy protection. These guys are solid
  15. If you use any Kontakt Instruments, it's really not much different. To use a single Kontakt instrument, you need to install 3 applications. You need Native Access (Download Manager) to install it, Kontakt Player (Or Full) to run it and the library itself for inside Kontakt. The libraries are often much larger than 2GB as well. It's pretty common with anything that uses samples, or wavetables, so that's pretty unavoidable if they do. Quite a few Devs will also have their own downloader for Kontakt Instruments. This is often required above Native Access. This would install the activation app, which could really be combined with the download manager and you would get one extra app which is to manage the libraries. More relevant if you were going to be installing more Halion libraries. 1 or 2 extra apps that run on demand only and the size doesn't really seem like much of an issue if it sounds good. I've installed it, but haven't tried it yet, so I can't comment on sound, but it's not much different to Kontakt. It just seems like more if its the first Halion instrument you're installing.
  16. Do you mean with their downloader? Or just in the list on the download page?
  17. You can still go to Downloads anyway after ordering. So I don't think it's actually required. A lot of the sample packs are repeat freebies though, so people might already have these.
  18. I always thought that's why they made the upgrades to the next bundle so cheap.. so they lock you out of individual and cheap WUP for single plugins.
  19. But it's Baby Audio and not PA plugins. Being PA EXT wouldn't they just be redeem codes at Baby Audio? If not, from Plugin Boutique there's no serial for them they just provide installer don't they?
  20. That's my recollection too.. I don't even install them any more, but I still claim them just in case there's a hidden gem in there ?
  21. I read that same thing and then stumbled onto another thread where someone explained it. I've always left a gap often the next day for the second buy if I can and never not received a voucher.
  22. I bought their 303 and then that went for lower a while later. But I had it to enjoy and use during that time before then and it was still fairly cheap on sale. $29 for this isn't a terrible price all things considered, so buying it now isn't bad. It's just knowing it will drop that makes me pause with ones like this. The original was quite fun at times and that alone is sometimes worth it ?
  23. That's a pretty good point really. I'd forgotten it was them behind it. I did buy the Integral Studio Pack III at a crazy discount based on that premise. They're taking a while, but they have updated some of them and I think a lot of the time was just getting their new framework for them ironed out. So the rest should start trickling in and they can probably reuse a lot of that framework code for these too.
