  1. I love a lot of PA stuff, but this has a very alpha / beta feel to it and like it's been rushed out the door as a MVP. Hopefully there will be lots of free updates, but I suspect we'll get this and then eventually it might start being something for V2 which will probably then be paid. It might just be because it's taken so long that I feel that way, as it was supposed to be included in the All 2022 bundle, that it seems a bit underwhelming. Free is probably the right price for it from an initial look, as it seems to be missing a lot of core functionality,. It's certainly no Wavelab killer..
  2. Actually, I probably should've made that bold as well to make it stand out more easily as well. I'll try and keep that in mind for next time.

  4. I think I've mostly stopped buying UA plugins individually. They always work out so much better in a bundle and they don't really give you any credit for individual plugins, so you just end up buying the same ones in each bundle over and over again in each new bundle. I even passed on the Topline and Manley Mu Limiter the other day for a total of $49 for that reason. That and I already have equivalents in other brands. But I still somewhat thought they might be OK to have. But I know there will be a bundle for maybe a few hundred more and I'll get a heap of new plugins from my Signature bundle. I skipped Signature 2. It was fun picking up all the individual ones with voucher stacking when they first dropped in price, but everyone that skipped all that and just bought in at Signature 2 did way better.
  5. For some reason I wouldn't have expected that at all. I glossed over them a little, as I'm really not sure they add anything. If they were cheaper again, which I wouldn't be surprised by at some stage, I may have been tempted though, so that's handy to know for future.
  6. Discount codes are only valid until 7th April 2025.
  7. I think the only thing I've bought from them in quite a while now was Tape Echoes the other day.. crossgrade was $12.. and Transient Shaper for $10, but that came with Composer Cloud 1 month free. I have what I wanted from them really, apart from some stuff I just can't make the prices seem like good value with everything else I have, or that is out there and just as good, if not better, for cheaper.
  8. Some mixed reviews over at VI. I thought some of the Kirk Hunter stuff was OK. Some of the points relate more to installation and use, rather than sound at least though. https://vi-control.net/community/threads/kirk-hunter-diamond-symphonic-orchestra-for-49-thoughts.116557/ I haven't read through it all yet
  9. Just added that too Almost tempting.. early adoption doesn't normally pay off at Softube though!
  10. Softube: New Vocal Tuner and Deesser from Softube ($99.00 total for both) Total: USD 69.30 with the 30% subscriber discount. https://www.softube.com/vocal-tuner-and-deesser Individually: https://www.softube.com/vocal-tuner https://www.softube.com/deesser
  11. Mine was $500+ so I just don't think they will do enough. If I was really attracted by it I might, but I already have the bulk of their stuff that I want and with so many deals out there, it's effort to chase deals. It's not up to me to remind them (like I had to last time) to send loyalty vouchers. I'm buying from companies that just send them 🙂
  12. My upgrade price is pretty unappealing and not much less than yours. I think EDU messes up loyalty stuff with them from what I've seen personally. It's an easy pass for me. I can't be bothered emailing them.
  13. The current activations will stop working, so you need to install the non activation required new version is my understanding. Then they will work indefinitely, but won't receive any future updates.
  14. They just sent the email, so looks like they were lazy on the promo and just did a re-run, or that was all they could get out of PA!
  15. You're welcome 🙂 And they do, yes. I know that can be a little polarising for some unfortunately.
  16. It's like that sometimes.. haha... Enjoy!
  17. I would guarantee they have, but agree they shouldn't! I was always amazed where people were buying Plugin Alliance channel strips etc. and then complaining when they were heavily reduced 6-12 months later after they paid full price. I know often professional studios justify it based on using it in a project immediately and tax deductions, but even then, I'm certain they have more than they ever need and could use any number of alternatives and pick it up down the track. Blackhole is almost the exception, as it's more unique and I love the plugin. I'd still never pay full price for it though. You could get the H9 bundle for that price at times.

  19. If it was indeed a genuine glitch, it would've been at the IK / Distributor level, which would explain why it appeared that way across multiple resellers. The jury is still out for me a little, although I have read that Peter from IK said it was a glitch.
  20. Removing that limit was the best thing for sales and their brand reputation. Plus, given their installer seems to cause quite a bit of grief, it means customers aren't penalized when they find something missing and it's over 180 days and they realise the installer screwed up, like missing samples, or presets. If they spent the time on the installer and really improved that, I'm sure it would lift their reputation considerably again and as a result, their sales.
  21. I've actually thought the exact same thing with some previous "glitches" from other vendors too. Always hard to know for sure though I guess.
  22. Hey Lars! Better off buying the 6 individuals direct with the coupon aren't you, as that's the full orchestra and only works out to $204 in total?
  23. Hollywood Fantasy Strings or Brass etc. $34 each!!! You can buy the whole for Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra for $224, but if you buy the components individually, you get the whole thing for $204 (i.e. $34 x 6 as the code is reusable) String Machine is $34 as well which is lower than it normally goes. https://www.soundsonline.com/orchestral/hollywood-fantasy-orchestra Code: SAINTPATRICKS-25 https://www.soundsonline.com/st-patricks-day
  24. United Plugins WideFire by JMG Sound free limited time only. Save $32US https://unitedplugins.com/WideFire #Deals #Freebie
  25. The price has jumped, but the original link was always the upgrade. The link that @User 905133and I posted were to the full version for the same price, so there was no requirement to own anything else.
