Yes, spot on. It's explicitly for V2 so they're doing a pre check first and requires it to be logged in. For paid presets it makes sense as it stops people buying the incorrect packs, but for free it would be nice if they skip that step. There are some presets I've gotten for free because I knew I was likely to end up buying a particular synth down the track.

I don't believe you can with Intros: Exception: UnitedPlugins credits cannot be used to purchase plugins sold at introductory prices.

Xils Lab Summer Sale, up to 80% off synths and effects, Stix at $59
MusicMan replied to D-Fused Sounds's topic in Deals
I've got PolyKB III and that doesn't seem to have any major bugs that I've come across. It can sound quite nice and almost analog like and warm. I just bought it as it was so enjoyable to play rather than to even use in tracks. I have heard some of their others do have quite a few bugs though. -
Sonnox Oxford Inflator Flash Sale (Exclusive) for $26
MusicMan replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
That MFlator interface might get closer, but all the other ones I've seen and tried, only null at certain static points (although most don't include multiband so they miss functionality and won't null with that), so they just don't respond in the same way when you start adjusting them. From my experience, it's always so much faster to get the sound dialed in with Inflator than any of the clones I tried. MFlator looks promising though and it might address some of those downsides. -
Approximately $15 seems to be the max you would need to pay for most of these individually on sale. There's no way I'd pay this price for 2. Sometimes you can pick them up for $10 each.
-
I have them almost all of Unfiltered Audio, including Triad and Byome, which I got for a comically cheap price in one of my funniest PA deals ever ? If they didn't have them in their stables, it would be much worse. I would actually like to see more instruments from PA too. Some of the synths they do are really quite good. I had been expecting PPG to pop up soon, but like their mastering DAW they promised, they both seem like vapourware. I guess if they didn't have to keep fixing for Apple updates we might have had both, but it's hard to know. We also might just have more channel strips, compressors and EQs!
-
It's one of those ones that I haven't heard people raving about or anything, which isn't a foolproof way to look at it, but often if they're good, more people will notice and post / comment about them.
-
Thoughts on this one? Worth a demo?
-
These actually aren't bad, but absolutely zero incentive for a lot of people to buy this CM edition to get them.. It's almost hard to avoid getting hit by them they've been thrown out so many times as repeat promos by resellers and LoopCloud, etc!
-
Sometimes I wonder just how many extra updates for major features, GUI improvements, optimizations and new plugins we would all have if it wasn't for all the developers needing to constantly divert resources just to appease Apple updates.. They really do take up the lion share every time an Apple update breaks something.
-
I still really like a bunch of my PA plugins and they still get a lot of use. For me, I've cooled on them for a few reasons.. they didn't really branch out and get creative, it was just more channel strips, compressors, EQs. They really already covered that base well that it's hard to see a need to buy a bunch of these new ones from them, especially when we were picking up all the old ones at such crazy sale prices. If I hadn't, then some of their new stuff would be pretty appealing. There are a couple of plugins from them on my list that I may buy if they tempt me enough with a better sale price. But definitely not in a hurry. I think I love just about all that Neold stuff.. I've even considered that one too and definitely don't need it ?

New free Arturia Soundbank: Amapiano Essentials for Pigments
MusicMan replied to audioschmaudio's topic in Deals
He often is! ? It's got the underscore in front of it in his post, which I suspect is why you couldn't find it. It's not a bad reminder anyway and John's comment is useful. I can't recall if I clicked add in Pigments or not now, so will check that too. -

I think the APD one was Cryptic Soundscapes. -

Actually there were a couple in quick succession. It might have been the other one from APD and this one direct. I got it in June, so could've been this post too: -

MusicMan replied to audioschmaudio's topic in Deals
Free back in June via APD, but nice that it's free for everyone directly on Arturia now instead. -
Thanks Craig, that was an upgrade price I thought made it reasonable too Any thoughts on whether ultimate is worth the upgrade at the same time? I just did the upgrade from Pro V1 to Pro V2 and the upgrade to ultimate is cheaper now as well.

APD Deal: All Saints Choir by Soniccouture - 71% Off
MusicMan replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Handy to know, otherwise it was worth a shot! I'm not sure I would've even taken part, but lots of love for that deal around here, so it would've been great to see. -

Maybe we should contact them and see if they will do a forum offer / code for everyone again. It's good advertising for them and sounds like lots of people would take advantage of it -
Yeah that was the loyalty price John. I bought the bundle prior to DMX so I get the loyalty discount too, but someone that has never bought anything from them before can go to a reseller and get it on sale for pretty much the same price. They almost never let us down with sound though! The OB-X is my least favourite from them so far. I just haven't clicked with that one yet. All the others are really good.
-
When did they change the minimum spend for the voucher back down to $32? I must have missed that.
-
Physical iLok required I'd imagine. LFOTool has VST3 beta now apparently and I'd probably consider Cableguys, or Duck by Devious Machines before this instead and skip that requirement. Duck didn't actually seen to say VST3 though, so not sure on that one.
-
Always with them unfortunately... There have been a few exceptions, but in general, their "loyalty" offers are always worse than buying outright elsewhere. Same with Sonible.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if that was more feedback from the survey they sent out. I dare say they heard a few of those things a lot!
