    Back!

That did occur to me as well ? It also occurred to me that everyone always pays out on companies for constantly having sales, so I guess we probably brought that on ourselves too!

    Back!

Welcome back Lars and hope you had a great trip! Most of the sales have just been the standard boring regular sale prices, so you didn't miss much on that front ?

This was actually a really good freebie. I wouldn't be surprised if their full version, or other products were decent too. I tried this out ages ago and liked it, but might make an effort to use it more frequently by adding it to my "Use more" list in Cubase ?
  4. Some tutorials definitely help with this one if you want to go deep. Most compressors don't need a tutorial but this one has control over everything and then some! I somewhat wonder if Unisum took some inspiration from it as well. I still need to spend more time learning this one inside out.
  5. Anything time related from them are amazing, reverbs, delays and even their flangers and phasers are top notch. I rate some of their stuff among the best of the best. Blackhole can get pretty epic and unique, SP2016 can seem so transparent until you take it off and see how much it was adding to make whatever shine ? I LOVE the H3000 Factory too.. you can go as deep and technical as you want, but there's plenty of presets and you can always tweak them slightly to taste. They have heaps more to call out really! Back on Softube, I actually quite like the Tube Delay. I had held off buying any more from them until the next volume was released, but that's taken waaaaay longer than I expected... I need to check if I have that reverb already, but I like it can be used in modular.
  6. If I didn't already have it, that would be a no brainer!
  7. Great compressor and plenty of controls to really fine tune it to get the sound you want ?
  8. Yep, I'm pretty much exclusively using VST3 unless a dev doesn't have one yet. Are you using Cubase 12 Pro as well?
  9. Thanks Tom, I'm on Windows 10 and Cubase and it has caused some crashes. I wondered if it was just my combo.. interestingly fine for Simon using them. But yet all of my other plugins are fine...
  10. I did, but unfortunately no go.. thanks for the suggestion though ?
  11. Well.. almost! Haha... The code had expired, so my search continues..... ?
  12. Sounds like an amazing trip Lars, enjoy! Besides, it's always best to get these things out of the way in the lulls between sales, so you'll be firing on all cylinders for Black Friday! ?
  13. I had a look around for an upgrade as well and there was nothing showing for me either to upgrade the bundle. Will be interesting to hear what they say.
  14. I had wondered whether they may send a list to PA once successfully converted and then it deactivated or something. I did like seeing your earlier comment about serial too. I would be interested to hear how many seats it offers. It's not sounding like too bad a thing really and if anything it's likely to mean faster updates than with PA ?
  15. Agreed, it does seem a little funny, especially this bundle compared to 2022 which just had so much in it! ? I do get a little sale fatigued from them, but otherwise I'm the same, I wish them well too ? They could've easily charged more for their plugins (when on sale) given the quality compared to many of the competitors, so they won some points from me there and licensing and number of seats is one of the better ones, plus regular freebies. It's a pretty competitive industry these days, so it's gotta be a tough gig for them to keep coming up with ideas to drive profits.. I have plenty of plugins and instruments from them, so I have no interest in this deal and no need to have the latest plugins as soon as they release them, so I'll definitely be sitting this one out.
  16. Definitely on the hungry/desperate for sales! But I'm not so sure about any collapse. PA doesn't just have to justify their sales to themselves, now they have to compete and hold their own against Native Instruments and iZotope, both of which are very well known and established, so there will be a push to make as much money as possible. On top of that, a lot of companies will look at testing different sales option, from subscriptions, bundles, various sales (BOGOF, x% Off, Spend $x get y%, buy x number of items, get y% off, etc), so them having a shot at selling bundles was probably predictable at some stage. I think they've only done bundles before on subscription. It's not uncommon for companies to try each option and see in real life results what works and whether to adopt it and it could be just that. Personally I was never going to subscribe and they will have realized there were a lot of people like that, so this could just be a push at generating more sales from people like me. Of course it could also be a collapse as well! But to me it just feels like testing the market
  17. I was considering transferring over right away, but after reading about the new licenses I think I'll hang back for a little bit and see how it goes for those first groups of users and listen for any feedback. I don't necessarily think there's anything nefarious, or bad, I think they are just looking at not being exclusive to PA, so having their own licensing makes sense as they can sell through PiB, etc too.
  18. I wonder if the same will apply to their other products from PA as well.
  19. I've had some fun with this one too and you can actually get some OK sounds from it. I can't recall what the presets were like, but for synth-bass the tone isn't too bad I am glad they released a separate installer though. I had to keep the VST2 versions of everything else installed just to be able to have it on my system. Just did the update of my Kilohearts, removed VST2 as an option and happy days

  21. Yep, that's what I did too. But I don't think they will ever show online under your account, which does bug me a little. The online account, or even the IKPM is a handy way of seeing what you own, so with them not present in there, it's hard to get an accurate view (or remember!) what you have..
  22. Did you check from within Amplitube and do restore purchases Simon, or just check your products listed in your online account? For some reason heaps of these ones don't show online, but do inside Amplitube.
  23. That's strange. I thought it would be a permanent thing. They never mentioned a time limit to claim it when they first said they were going to release it. Either way, I've already claimed it and installed it, so all good here, but good callout ?
