I have heard that certain chords are supposed to follow, not quite sure why, I obviously don't know. Thanks for the ears and kind comments, good to know you enjoyed it too.

Sounds fine here Gary. Nice and clear, balanced mix.

Interesting another dark song, definitely overtones of MR Beefheart. I enjoyed mix sounds Ok here.
-
Nicely done, balanced mix here.

Interestingly dark lyric, in the main the whole thing ain't bad. If I was to raise a small issue I found the snare a bit to hot and relentless, bit to in the face during the verses, just my two Triganic Pu. What do I know though. Still enjoyed the song.

Sounds fine here Keith.

When I contacted their support, they basically said, 1. They don't test it in Cakewalk SONAR, this was in the Gibson days of ownership of Cakewalk. 2. They weren't interested in testing it in Cakewalk software.

Any idea @craigb on shipping costs to a galaxy far, far, very far away?

Rabbit hole achieved CClarry left of his own volition.

Listened on YouTube. Mix sounds reasonable here.

Someone got their funk on with this. Cool grooving sir. Nice job with the alternate Basses.

My dad said at his 75 birthday meal, "this getting old lark is no fun, in fact it is sh1t", my dad didn't swear. He made it to 85. Wishing you best Dave, hope the solution comes soon for you.

@msmcleod unfortunately that is not the case with all plugins Mark. Arturia's Stage 73 with zero all controllers ensbled zeros the volume to zero and the tremolo as well, which is irritating in the extreme. Same with the Korg Triton and Triton extreme. In fact several of my VSTi's will completely set their volumes to zero. Some even will get pan set hard left. I always disable the setting 90% of the time.

@mark skinner I only listened to the MP3 but the overall balance is much better. It has maintained being very cool stuff, love the cello.

They are an inspiration to me, more the earlier stuff but some of the new line up is getting interesting, they seem to be returning to their roots. Thank you Nigel.

@Magic Russ Analogue Lab gives you access to all their synths but with limited control and no real ability to create totally new voices. If you own the V collections or any of the standalone plugins then you can access the full synth.

All the best Dave, a little of the force to aid the surgeon and your recovery. Furry paws crossed.

Thanks, a little dissonance can bring the more melodic parts to life, the dissonance in this comes mainly from the ARP pattern being played of unusual scale notes. Appreciate your ears sir, thank you for your kind words.

Try Cakewalk.com.

Whilst this should be true some VST i's don't appear to respond to MIDI volume changes, unless the volume has been mapped to the correct MIDI CC. -
Do you have your projects on a separate disk drive? You will find an immediate improvement in performance if you add a drive for them, even an external SSD or better NVMe drive

Please keep it civil, if you have nothing of value to add, then add nothing.
