My current plugin list... 493 plugins (Let me see your list too!)

Not asking for the Ed, just suggesting he reveals what his plugin count is these days, it was 6 figures the last time he dropped it. -
Arturia keylab essential mk3 + Cakewalk Sonar ?
Wookiee replied to pourfab's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@pourfab I use an old Arturia Keylab 88 Mk 1, which did require a little time configuring using ACT. But once done it has worked fine with a couple of different computers and SONAR Platinum, CbB and now Cakewalk Sonar and Cakewalk Next.- 1 reply

@Edward Allen, you are aware that Sonar can display three different scale rules at the top of the track view?

@Bapu? -
If it helps, I have found SCAN 3SX computers to provide excellent service. I purchased an i9 14900K system from them just over 14 months ago, before we knew about the dred Intel i9/7 14/13 series rot. Unfortunately my i9 fell foul of that rot, even though I don't over clock, and use an AIO for cooling. They immediately arranged for my machine to be collected, repaired, replaced the i9. Run full system tests, and returned to me in 7 days, I did have to pay for the DPD return trip but a small price indeed.

@timboalogo I am aware of one user who runs Cakewalk on a surface pro.

@Ted Raven. 1. Open preferences. 2. Navigate to Drum maps. 3. Hold down Ctrl + Shift, 4. Select the top drop downs maping to an output. 5. Change it to point to your IK drums. 6. Save it.

Thank you sir, sorry about the delays.

Simple answer is only those provided, you can modify some of the colours yourself. The reason is because of the way the GUI is generated. This is explained in quite some detail by several staff, in numerous posts here.

Sonar not behaving with multiple (virtual) desktops
Wookiee replied to matt's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@matt sounds like you are using Workspaces which unless you save the Workspace after making changes will always revert to saved settings on starting Sonar. If possible I recommend using Workspace none then all Sonar functions are fully available and things stay where you put them from session to session. -
Is there anything else which affects playback timing in Sonar
Wookiee replied to norfolkmastering's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@norfolkmastering You may have done all this but...... 1. Check Windows Audio settings are the same as Sonar/Cakewalk 2. Have you disabled HDMI and the Realtek audio in device manager 3. In Windows Audio remove the check that says allow application to take full control of your audio device. Some people lock the AUD.INI file this ensures your audio settings are the same everytime you start Sonar/Cakewalk, just remember to unlock it if you intend to make changes to your audio device or settings. -
@dreamcache I had exactly the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy 43 Mini LED UHD gaming monitor. Not only Cakewalk but other programs did not reopen in the samecsize or location. I susit my be a driver issue withnthe monitor. I gave up with it in the end. I now use 2 Viewsonic 32" UHD monitors, no problems at all.
-
@dreamcache, do you use the same template for all your projects? If so try using a different one. Personally the main Cakewalk window opens exactly where I closed it. What size monitor are you using? Do you have windows text scaling enabled? I notice in your video you are letting Windows auto resize the main Cakewalk Window, what happens if you manually resize by dragging the window to you preferred size?
-
No so such thing as to many delays!
-
Roland actually requested that Cakewalk stop providing the installer for TTS-1 as they no longer support it. However if you have an old SONAR installer you can install it from there, just do a custom install. Then reinstall the new Sonar to reinstall the more recent shared libraries.

Oops I just realised I didn't actually comment on the music, it was good, mix nice and present.

Well I don't know what hospital you experienced, but my recent stay it was far from quite. Even in the side ward, just me, the rest of the ward sounded like war had broken out.
-
A touch of Steve quirkiness, well according to the wests most popular religious book, you are forgiven by default. Personally I suspect I don't count. As ever Steve, good writing and production with some cool playing.

Mix sounds nice here, can be fun reworking an "old" track

@dreamcache are you referring to the layout within Sonar? If so are you using Workspaces? The layout is dictated by the Workspace, to fix your problem you have to options. 1. Don't use Workspaces set your Workspace to none. 2. Once you have arranged your windows save your Workspace. Note plugins will all was open where the last one was closed, irrespective of the plugin.
