  1. I did say I believe, just shows not everything one can believe in is true. 😀
  2. @Wayne Severson what audio interface and buffer sizes. I believe the CA-2A uses look ahead buffers.
  3. @chamlin punching in is an old method used with tape machines, it was used to literally punching in over the top of pre recorded takes overwriting , destroying, what was there. With a modern DAW, there is no need to punch in. Just set your loop points as wide as you need. Then use comp recording mode to record as many takes as you need. Then using the comp function described on page 454 of the Sonar reference guide, you can not only pick the best take but pick the best bits of all the takes.
  4. You said set the punch in, that is not required if you are using the loop/comp recording that @57Gregy suggested. 1. You set a loop points. 2. You enabled/arm the track for recording with the comp method selected, which is the default method. 3. Press the R to start recording each loop is recorded in its own take lane. No punch in needs to set.
  5. @Loïc Choquette Sauvageau Z3ta+ Version 1 gets installed as part of the badic install of the old, pre Bandlab, SONAR products. It has never been part of CbB or the new Cakewalk products. If you previously owned one of the Gibson/Roland versions of SONAR, you can download the core code installer which will install Z3ta+ version 1.
  6. @Tom Bednarz I suggest you report it to support@cakewalk.com, does it reset if you close and reopen Sonar?
  7. @Astraios as noted @Kurre these sorts of things are controlled by how a Workspace is configured. Just set all the views and open tabs the way you want it, save the workspace. One other way if you don't use Workspaces is to configure a template.
  8. Oh try writing code, in machine code.
  9. @User 905133 I was totally aware of what they are, I didn't want scare the OP, as it was apparent she/it/he didn't.
  10. @Joël JAGODZINSKI they look like Sysex commands. Do you know what each line does, each line is a single Sysex command. To use them you put them in the Sysex tab, normally only one line for any one song.
  11. @ZincT is that what you wanted?
  12. Primarily they have cleaned up the UI and made some controls that were on the second layer, on the front layer.
  13. Basically you get the JUP8000, full version of Augmented Maletts, whole Augmented series GUI overhaul, the SEM rewritten from the ground up. Plus any of the new synths they have released this year, Minibrute I think, Augmented Yangtze, Acid V(? That is a guess)
  14. Not sure how they can call it "Authentic" the JP8000 & JP8080 had upper and lower voices. And keyboard splits.
  15. @norfolkmastering I just changed my monitors for two 32" 4k UHD Viewsonic monitors. Are you sitting down, cost me £409.00 next day delivery for the pair. If you are interested I do have a Samsung 43" 4K, G70C UHD, Mini- LED, only 6 months old hardly used, going for a sensible price if your interested, and you are not a million miles from me PM is interested.
  16. They have a lower version called V Collection intro, which has a reduced number of synths. I suspect as ever their servers are overwhelmed as they are every release. I was logged in my offer was 99 but when I went to pay it was 699. Now can't login.
  17. We are here to help, just give us a shout and if we can we will, well I certainly will.
  18. @audioschmaudio I started with Arturia Synths before the V collections existed. My first was the (Moog) Modular. I then add the first CS-80, then the ARP 2600 and the Prohet V. They they introduced the V collections.
  19. Merged threads for duplicate post
  20. I can only agree, though we will no doubt see it has three new synths, (oh looks like two we already have Yangtze thing, Acid V, Mini freak, whoopee), at a ridiculous upgrade price, compared with certain other companies who manage to sell their products at around a quarter to a third of what Arturia charges.
  21. @bobbyashrimp as has been politely explained to you this is an unsupported product owned by Gibson who purchased it from Roland.
  22. As 57Gregy observers the company that technically own SONAR 8, Gibson, no longer care, they no longer support the product. There is nothing Bandlab Technologies are or can do to help you, I doubt they even have access to the source code. Why not try CbB?
  23. @bobbyashrimp what error messages are you getting. VST 3 was introduced around the same time as SONAR 8 not sure if it supported VST3. What is your OS version Windows 7 does not support VST 3.
  24. Have you ensured all traces of both were removed when you uninstalled? Try uninstalling again the use Revo to check it has all gone, then install CbB. You may lose you Cakewalk/VSTplugins directory if you are not carefull with your uninstall
