I should have waited and got the FX 2 Elite upgrade as part of the Platinum deal (I have FX 2 Elite and Amp 2 Pro). The best option for me at present seems to be direct from PG - Platinum upgrade for $124 which gets me Amp 2 Elite, Metal/Bass/Acoustic Expansion Packs and the Pro Series EQ and Compressor plug-ins.
